  2. i can find the tutorial for the rb25det but not for the 26.. its all pretty random, like when its cold it seems fine..
  3. Hey guys got an issue with the GTR i just purchased. The idle isn't always very smooth.. yesterday when driving back from essendon airport (visited friend) the engine would hesitate then if you wouldnt keep pepping at the accelerator it would stall at low speed.. so then i would roll to a stop and turn it back on, but then again if i didnt keep the revs up it would stall again.. so i would leave it off for a few minutes, then turn it back on.. and the revs would bounce all around from 100-1200 hunting around.. then eventually it would maintain around the 1000revs, but wouldn't really sound right. then again for no reason it would be fine again.. this all happens once the engine is fully warmed up. but when its not having the idle issues or like hesitating when driving at less than 60kph then it wanting to stall.. it feels great, boosts strongly and is basically awesome. im currently staying at my sisters place in brunswick and am planning on driving back to adelaide on tuesday. So if anyone who is in the know wants to check it out let me know

  5. so about 12psi would be max i should go on the ceramic turbos hey.. if people are destroying them at 1 bar..
  6. so would that bypass the restrictor.. or do you remove the restrictor then put the boost controller in.. ill be getting an ebc
  7. so nissan actually fixed the oil pump collar issue with the later r32's? Removing the boost restrictor, will that put through too much boost?
  8. Hey guys, im picking up my GTR on friday. I dont want to have to rebuild the engine any time soon so: I know they tend to have a problem with the oil pump. What exactly is the problem? Would it be a worthy investment to upgrade it straight away? Turbo's, the ceramic turbines seem to be a big problem, but if they go would they tend to do engine damage at the same time, or will it just kill the turbo/s then its as simple as upgrading? If they do damage the engine, im thinking i should upgrade them quite soon... Are there any other known problems that is recommended to fix or upgrade in order to save me from damaging the car?   9. Hello people. Im picking up my 93' GTR on Friday.. I sure this has been covered before, but I just want a quick answer I know the standard brakes are crap, but basically what is the best option as far as quality and value for money for an the upgrade & also what brake pads. Also where would I buy it from? I live in SA and car will be .. enthusiastically driven, no track work at this stage.. Cheers Jon

  15. yeah or go somewhere like redline motorsport on north east road and pay a couple grand more.. but at least you get warrenty
