Thanks for your reply! My initial question seems I have implied I can only afford a spray can, that's not the case. I ask for small budget mods like the ones you have mentioned as I have done all the suspension and brakes and in the process of saving up for some engine mods. I wanted some little things to do in in betweeN saving. Cheers for your ideas! I wasn't sure whether or not to retrim the c pillars or like you said remove the trim and paint them black.

Hey! I have recently purchased my first R32 skyline and I've looked through the cosmetic threads and had a really good read. There is a lot of awesome tutorials. What I didn't find was cosmetic modifications that can be done on a budget! For example when I owned and R31 A popular budget mod was to paint the door Centre pillars black. Does anyone have any good suggestions for some budget mods? Thanks

I definitely agree that just putting a badge on it doesn't make it a GTR but like I said my intention is to make it have the appearance of a GTR. Not the engine and drive train. As for the mechanical side of thing the engine runs perfect and I have fixed all the issues that were previously wrong with it (hense why it was cheap) and being a mechanic it didn't cost me anything but parts. Saving is basically out of the question at the moment as I'm studying to be a Doctor and can't even work as my study is so strict but I have literally been given most of the body parts for a GTR so no need to buy them. I definitely get where you are coming from though. Thanks for your opinion

Now I know straight away there is going to be a range of comments so hear me out! my dream car since I can remember is an R32 Skyline (GTR to be specific) and have always wanted one. I have never had the opportunity to accrue large amounts of money and have only ever bought one semi expensive car when I was younger (S13) which I got a loan for and jumped the gun being a young lad with $7000 and bought the first car I saw. I have recently had the chance to purchase an R32 GTST for a really low price. Here's where the badge comes into it. as I know I won't be able to afford a GTR for years (10+) I want to turn this GTST cosmetically into a GTR this would involve the badges, the kit, headlights etc. My question is... Is it justifiable to put this badge on my GTST in order to fulfill every aspect of a cosmetic GTR overhaul? Thank you for reading And please no hate comments! Kind regards Steve

Now you mention it, it's running really rich. Car runs good but rich. How does the ecu temp sensor affect that? And where is it? Tps is set correc. when I disconnect the brown plug on the aac it dies.

Hey guys and girls, I've been having issues with my R32 RB20DET idling high at about 1100 - 1500. Car runs fine just idles high. I have done some research and noticed this is a common problem and is usually fixed by cleaning the aac or replacing it. I have changed the aac twice with both times cleaning them. No fix. I have tried fiddling with the idle screw. No fix. I have checked for air leaks. No finds. I have changed the cold air regulator. No fix. Note: When idling if I disconnect the aac plug the car just dies. Any help would be appreciated.
