Just got pulled over by the cops for an RBT. Passed that and then he saw my momo steering wheel with metal in the middle of it and decided to check the car out. He said he could fine us and marked on the defect notice 'Major Defect'. I now have to get the car inspected. The issues he raised are: - venting bov - hole cut in primary structure for cooler piping - larger than standard intercooler - cover missing from air filter - exhaust suspect compliance for noise/emissions - steering wheel (metal in the middle and not large enough) So has anyone else been done for these sort of things and what did Qld Transport have to say?

Yep that must have been you. Really sorry to hear about the defects. The cops are being real pricks at the moment. We were the silver 32 that drove past you a little slowly, not to gawk, but we didn't want any attention from the cop! I think next time i go to autobarn i'll take someone elses car. You are the third car in as many months that i've seen pulled over in that area.

saw a white 33 pulled over in moss street, springwood at around 10am on sunday. feel sorry for you, hope it wasn't too painful. is autobarn the latest hotspot for the cops?!?!

yeah cheaper cars are gr8. mine has cost me 10k and i have spent 4k to get it running properly and it still needs a respray. you get what you pay for. thinking about getting rid of it, so is your car still for sale?

saw a debadged white 32 gtr parked in the myer carpark at the hyperdome. saw it as i went up the escalator and had to go back for another look. don't worry, i didn't leave any fingerprints! i really want one!!!!

gtr badges on a gtt now thats sad. no matter what guards it has or motor is in it.

i have 2 32s both are autos, my wife car is getting converted to a manual. but she doent have 2 drive on the m1 everyworking day . the auto mayb a little slower but a hi flowed turbo takes care of that

Saw a dark blue 33 with green stripes on the bonnet on loganlea rd. I think it was 666dan's mate. We were in the silver 32. And on the way home, a yellow 34 also on loganlea road. Very nice!

hi i've got about 15 tatts. but some of mine are old school got my first in 1982 on the cross, and my last one about 3 week a go when i can ill take some pic (of the good ones)

Sorry for taking so long to get back to you, my computer crapped itself! As far as the stalling problem goes, we know it is the power feed to the fuel pump, but we just have to narrow it down to an exact spot. Good luck with your conversion! I was talking to someone who also had a stalling problem, and he put a manual in and it fixed the problem, so hopefully it works that way for you.

We're doing an auto to manual conversion on my wife's r32 in the next month or so, and I just wanted some advice on all of you who have done it before. What parts do I need to get? What about the tailshaft? Are there any surprises or problems that I may not be aware of? Any help, advice or general suggestions will be greatly appreciated. Thanks! Darren32 (very old darren)

I'm doing an auto to manual conversion in a few weeks, and I just want to know what you can supply for the $300 in your original message? Also do you still have the plastic surround that goes around the gearknob and up around the radio, and the leather bag around the gearknob? Thanks Darren
