  1. Sorry about that, it's more for a daily car yet still going on the track when possible, mainly drifting. Cheers for the link I'll have a read through it!
  2. Just after some personnel recommendations. I need to get some tires for my 33 (wheels will be 17x9.5, hopefully running 245/40) On my s13 I've ran Nexen 6000's and KU31, i thoroughly enjoyed both though the s13 was lighter and N/A so not too sure how the 33 will run on them. Just wanted to see what people have ran and how they are? Read through this thread a bit and saw few people comment on fee tires. For the rears I'm just going to just ATR's as they've been really good in the past on the silvia and happy how they are.
  3. sweet, cheers for that!
  4. Forgot to add what car my bad! It's for an R33 GTST
  5. I recently bought a set of wheels 17x9.5 +15 and im curious to know what size tires i can should run? after some failing at searching i couldnt find any help so seeing if has ran the same size wheels before. cheers.

  7. Time to update! After a few commitments that came up I slowly had some time to work on the 33, here's what happened: Firstly I discovered a small plant growing out from my fender... so I decided to investigate and proceeded to take of the inner guards and what I saw amazed me, it seems as if its never been cleaned properly in its like or sat around for a long time. The drivers side was the same... While it was jacked up I decided to change the brake pads, which was really easy....., took out the old shitty ones and added some bendix ones for the time being! Then I proceeded to clean the dash from all the glue residue, after a lot of elbow grease, scrapping shit paint and some plastic was I was really pleased with the results! i will do the same for the surrounding around the gear knob when I can! Then this week turned out to be christmas! All car parts coming in! firstly the Nardi wheel came in and im pleased with how it looks! much cleaner and simple look than before! and the CST's came in! i went with 17x9.5 +15, so now just trying to find what tire dimensions i should run! Any adivce would help! I also went to change the oil and the pressure was constantly high and I have no idea last time the previous owner changed it. When i drained it the oil was fairly dirty and there was grit within it... and wiht my luck the sump plug snapped in half! so I will need to buy a new when next time I go autobahn. Finally just the two cars sitting next to eachother.(note the now black pipes for the intercooler, looks a touch less obvious now!
  8. any recommendations?
  9. Hey guys just here for some advice: I have read through the first few pages and I have a slight understanding but in my 33 it previously had some cold idle issues and the oil pressure was hitting 8 when driving... So I decided to change the oil and after asking around I decided to go with penrite 15w-60, though when I started it it seemed to have the same idle issue.. (Had it on for 2 minutes before I stopped as I was worried about the sump plug, which the head of the bolt snapped off...) Any ideas? Using this car as my daily/track car! Also like in the hills of Adelaide so it gets pretty cold here
  10. They're 17x9 +27, didn't have any issues with fitting them, just had some camber done at the front to get enough clearance. Only minor problem is the coilovers I have, the gap between the wheel and the cool is about 3mm haha, I used to run 20mm bolt ons without any dramas. For those who were wondering, In regards to the 33 I apologies for the slow progress, just been absolutely hammered with work, I've done a few minor things here and there but nothing big, will give an update when I'm home in 2 weeks time!
  11. Had some time today to take a few pictures and clean up the headlights, also started to remove some of the carbon vinyl wrap inside. The next two weeks I will have little to no updates as ill be away for work... though its a good time to wait on parts as I've just ordered my wheels and just trying to find the right size for nardi deep corn steering wheel to purchase. (Sun glare is not helping the photo, but they look clearer than before, first time trying to clean up the headligths) (^anyone have any tips on how to remove the left over residue form the GTR badge and the sticker near the exhaust, as over time its became very crusty and makes it near impossible to have a clean peal of the sticker) (^left over glue residue not wanting to come off easily..) and decided to give the s13 a quick polish/wax Here is the mod list that came with the 33: Xtreme HD short shift Xtreme HD clutch kit bosch m/sport efi pump-inline high pressure SARD fuel regulator splitfire dis ignition coil packs apexi power fc computer with hand controller greddy intercooler kit powerflow injectors rb25det side feed tenzo magnetic sump plug greddy re-inforced timing belt-rb series greddy damper/coilovers kit type s greddy profec b spec 2 boost controller greddy profec s/w remote controller greddy rediator cap 127kp digital r spec speed meter momo steering wheels exess whiteline heavy duty sway bar front and rear greddy universal oil catch can kit exess motorsport grounding kit bosch air flow meter z32 airinx trust air pod filter trust exhaust power 2-ecr trust mx front pipe metal cat catalytic converter 3.5inch apexi turbo timer
  12. Ahk, I will looked at it tonight and possibly search up some YouTube videos about, cheers for the heads up.
  13. Thanks for the advice dude, new to the turbo side of things so I have no idea. What psi would you reccomend running it at for daily driver? And I'm going on a limb here and saying that to change the psi you use the boost controller? Haha
  14. Yea was going to say haha, the ones on now are not the best, might use them as track wheels or just sell them.
  15. haha, definitely removed it! Will get some more pictures on the weekend, been hammered by work and will continue over the next few weeks so progress will be slow. Wheel choice as in what I want to put the 33 on or what it currently sits on? Definitely going to go with M-spec kit on this, big fan of the S1 and M Kit, not so much of the s2.
  16. Hey guys, Finally got my full license so decided to purchase a turbo vehicle, always had a soft spot for 33's, may not be the crowd favourite or a boat at times but with some effort put in they can look Blake Lively or Sally Fitzgibbons. Just some previous car history: Owned my first love, an s13, best s-chassis imo with its lines and simplicity. N/A SR, pushed around 95-100kw with everything done do it so it was a ball to drive through the hills of adelaide and on the track, though inexperience + lack of power I did struggle to connect turns. Now to move on to the 33: Going to build this car with the mind set that I want to be able to run it on the track and still drive it to and from the track and also daily drives. When i bought it, mechanically is was real clean and tidy, the previous owner mainly took it to the shop to get parts installed, so at least I have the piece of mind everything is done right. The body though is something else, bit rough is few areas, but with some TLC and polishing it should come up good. Currently runs 196kw @ 14psi, which is more than enough power for the time being as im still learning how to drift, so I will be focusing more on the handling side of things. (^how it currently sits, after a light clean up) Firstly before i rego it, I'm just going to give it a clean up; Remove some stickers Clean up the headlights Polish and Wax Nardi Steering wheels with boss kit. Blast pipes Shifter cover/shroud thingy? ( the leather cover that goes over the shifter) CST Hyper Zeros 18x9.5 +23 Once registered I will start executing the build! first up I will put in a different set of coilovers ( thinking about BC racing coilovers, but have also heard good things about slideworks coilovers) upgrade the camber arms, toe arms, sway bars & steering lock. In the mean time i will be adding small things interior and exterior wise such as roof spoiler, boot lip, possibly different front bar(will try find a pic of what im after), rear pods, LED tail lights, weather guards and others misc items. Wont try to do anything else Engine and suspension wise after that, due to the fact I Haven't done a track day in it yet so unsure on what needs upgrading or what can stay the same. Hope you stay tuned!
  17. The Hiros suit this car's style so well! On another note, where did you get your boot lip?
  18. Sweet, I'll give it a try. Do you know any/recommend some for rim sizes website? tried using rimtuck but had no luck/didnt know how to use it properly.
  19. searched for a while in that section and the "post your R33" post but the search engine only picked up reference's to cst wheels, none have posted actual pictures/sizes.
  20. Hey guys been searching the forums but havent been able to find an answer. I'm looking at purchasing a set of CST Hyper zero's for the 33 and wondering what sizes have people ran?(brownie points for pictures) Thinking of getting 18x9.5 +15 but not too sure if its too aggressive or just fit. Can anyone shed some light? Cheers.
