yeah i got 255rwkw with a kkr480 on 15psi, but you can clearly see on the dyno run that it drops boost and the torque curve just plummets down. thats with a external wastegate too. i should have my new dyno print out soon to compare. -alex

keep it at two i got mine from otomoto in sydney, im very sure that same person/factory make these units. i will soon have dyno results with this dump pipe and with a custom 3inch unit, just need to get around to it. -alex

i dont want to be a party pooper here but these are the WORST dump pipe's every made! i've had these installed and they are total rubish. bad welding, warped oval shaped flanges.. and they just dont flow the power you want due to the bends and its only 2.5inch pipe. once changed to a full 3inch proper made up pipe the car felt like it could breath again and gained loads more hp, torque and response. I strongly recommend a custom 3inch or 3-1/4inch custom pipe. this is just another cheap china fabrication. -alex

lol i cant believe that happened to you too! one of my mates r33 had the same issue, he took it to a few places and no one knew what was wrong and said your turbo is gone (wont mention workshops) he even went out and got a second hand stocker to replace it. i ended up pulling it apart and found that all 4 bolts on the flange were lose! so it was an easy fix. but it does sound like an air leak/whistle or like your turbo is about to shit it self, but it still boosted.. the cause of the problem is that if your exhaust/dump pipe doesn't have brackets holding it steady, the weight of the exhaust will rattle it lose. common cause with aftermarket dump pipes. -alex

neo turbo will go straight on, so yes its direct replacement with your s1 turbo. no need to change anything. the neo turbo is only a fraction larger so you wont notice any difference, no need for a tune stock ecu is fine and will handle 200rwkw. -alex

remove your bleed valve and see if its still doing it. should hold 14psi, you would need to re-adjust it to suit new actuator and turbo. -alex
-
i have never done this myself, but the logical reason for doing this would be to reduce heat escaping through the head and pistons to reduce temperature. edit: didn't read the full post, i would also like to hear from anyone who has done this. -alex
-
+1 take the turbo of when you have some spare time and investigate, that would be the 1st place i'd look. -alex

i think they are all good, i've owned a few r33's and driven many r32's and r34's. like people have already said each model is just enhanced as the years go by and are all different to drive. its obvious if you throw a r25det into a r32 its going to go like a rocket but thats not the point here. it all comes down to what you like, test drive both and see for yourself then decide. at the end of the day you can make ether one go faster, stop better and handle better so it comes down to what you personally like. -alex

damn that is scary! keep your car roadworthy people! -
nice build dude, why compromise on the manifold when you have spent so much on the motor? how about a 6boost or a ETM product?

make sure you use plenty of sticky tape and superglue

+1 my point exactly, grow up and get these silly thoughts out of your head. if you are a p plater just tough it out otherwise you will pay the consequences.
