  1. That's why WASCC Tuning days are awesome, heaps of track time, so really good bang for your buck. They tend to alternate tin-tops and open-wheelers in 20-30min sessions. With your WASCC Membership you get a free Tuning Day (Normal cost about $75), so helps offset the cost. WASCC Membership is annual, but membership is now being charged on a pro-rata basis, so you only pay a reduced amount till the end of the year www.wascc.com.au/membership
  2. Have fun Brendan, lets us know how you go
  3. I think Bart (Dsturbd) may be. I entered last year with the wife, and we beat Brad and his wife (only just) Details can be found here in case people are interested: http://www.classicrally.com.au/shannons_1_day_classic.htm
  4. Nope, only for the true motorsport enthusiast None of the petrol companies have any plans to bring it over, not only due to legal restrictions, but also due to not being able to fully supply the eastern states markets.
  5. It's about $3/litre if you buy in 20L drums, or $2.70 if you buy in 200L drums. You'll need at least 40L to get a tune done, and E85 requires about 30% more flow than BP98. So you need to have large injectors
  6. 200L of Sucrogen E85. It's genuine race fuel, so is gaurenteed to be E85+, the stuff from the pumps over east fluctuates dramatically.
  7. Just waiting on some parts to arrive for the fuel system, then re-tune on E85. So still a few weeks away at best
  8. Trev, For that kind of investment, its worth taking the time to investigate further. I'm sure there are some dedicated forums which have alot of info. Also, to pay back $7k, you'd have to stay in your current place for about 5-10years.
  9. Hi Brendan, Normally I'd be keen, but still waiting to get my car finished. Will definately be out there as soon as I can. WASCC Tuning days are one of the best value for money events around Don't forget to check out here for other events http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/topic/369616-upcoming-events/
  10. Hell yes, your car is hot
  11. Well get your POS tuned, then submit your entry. I've done there Motorkhanas before, they're good fun and well run
  12. I should be able to make it
  13. Hi Guys/Girls, There is an upcoming event which you might be interested in, especially for Japanese Cars There is also a Motorkhana for those interested, or just simply display your car for FREE. If my car is back on the road by then I might even enter the Motorkhana myself Details and booking forms can be found here http://www.classicrally.com.au/Japanese_Car_Day.htm Cheers Paul
  14. Yes, got for a larger inverter than you need, or one that can support multiple phases, will give you room to grow if you need to.
  15. I see what you mean about keeping the channels narrow Is there anything special needed to be done to prime the oil system before starting the car in order to get the oil pressure up, or is the response from the pumps good enough ?
  16. I agree, looks to be stock plugs, and none of the wires have been spliced
  17. I assume you've already read this thread ? http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/topic/164288-diydiff-shimming-for-r33-gtst/
  18. Yes, bigger the shim, the more pre-load, and the tighter the diff
  19. RB30, but would also work for RB25.
  20. Brad, What are your thoughts on this design ?
  21. From Bubba, who shimmed his diff
  22. Currently in the process of upgrading my fuel lines for E85 too. Going dash 8's, and all rubber hosing replaced with teflon.
  23. I do somewhere, I will try and get a copy posted up. At least 10kgs, I have shopping bags full of it.
  24. Hi Tristan, I've got the biggest VCT cams I could find, Apexi 270degs. I think the VCT is one of the best parts of the RB25s. To be honest you'll struggle to find big VCT cams, so you may be stuck with disabling it.
  25. Don't make excuses Anyway, great to see it on the road again
