  1. You could also just look at an AccuSump as a middle ground. Tell Performance Unlimited it's a VL Engine and I'm sure they'll be able to help Best to go to someone who wants to work on imports though.
  2. What exactly is the question ? Do you want to know if anyone has used Performance Unlimited ? There are plenty of performance workshops around who could provide similar advice. Have you read the thread on Oil Control ? Do you have oil restrictors etc ? http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/in...t&p=2039323
  3. Yeah, for that price its definately worth the piece of mind Usually if they're clogged they can just put them in an ultrasonic bath to clean them up, and most the the injector parts are fixable. Go for new seals, as the seals are usually damaged when the injectors are removed.
  4. Call http://www.unitedfuel.com.au/ and see what they charge to flow test them.
  5. The danger is if you don't get them flow tested then one or more cylinders could run lean, wrecking your engine. If they've come off a running car then the risk is small, but if they've been off a car for a period of time then they could easily get clogged up with dirt etc.
  6. If you do buy them get them flow tested. Make sure they come with the right plugs to suit your car. Also injectors can come in different sizes, which means some only fit aftermarket fuel rails etc.
  7. Why, does it rub the guards ?
  8. AS1698 is a pre-2006 standard. AS/NZS 1698 is a joint standard between Australia and New Zealand that was created in 2006. So I guess if you helmet only has the AS1698 sticker on it then it follows the older standard, hence why they want it to comply with the newer AS/NZS standard.
  9. You can buy them starting from $50 at most Motorcycle stores or off Ebay Aslong as it meets AS 1698 then its good
  10. AS 1698 is what you need.
  11. All your names are down
  12. Plenty of cheap knock-off front bars around, the painting can often cost more the the front bar though
  13. Depends how much you can do yourself You can buy a 3ltr surge tank for about $200, then you need an external pump, and some fuel lines and fittings. We went solid lines on mine, and there is no smell at all
  14. The driver training is now open to non-members
  15. Hi Michael, I'm starting to spread the word to a number of people who are likely to be interested, and will also have it sent out to the SAUWA Members in our email updates. We don't want events like these to die through a lack of visibility, as WA could definately do to have more motorsport events. Cheers Paul
  16. Car goes off to get its cage on Saturday
  17. Personally I'd go for the direct bolt in. If you need extra flow in the future then get a surge tank and an external mounted fuel pump
  18. Sounds good Scott
  19. Hi Michael, I did notice there is a link on the WASCC Site, but I definately agree that the Car Club Forums are often the best way to get the message out to a large audience. There are a number of serious time-attack cars tucked away around Perth, and I'd hate for people not to see them cause they didn't know about it. Have you contacted the guys at No Limits, SCRA etc ? Cheers Paul

  22. Of course I didn't do it myself, I'm not going to damage my beautiful hands The guys at Xspeed did it for me, from a rear cradle that Gav Beer had.
  23. They obviously haven't advertised well as this is the first I've heard of it My car won't be ready by then, but would still be fun to go and watch
