  1. Yeah, right on brother I was gonna come back in here and say something like that....but I forgot.
  2. Who you callin' old sonny?? Hey Richard, you hearin' this shit?
  3. This sounds tempting, the only issue is getting home if something goes wrong I guess.... How did you attach your extinguisher? I don't fancy drilling holes in the floor, but I guess I could fab up a bracket so it could be bolted to the front passenger seat rails.
  4. Mate, let me know asap if you still want these.
  5. Ah yep Jon, dropped in a pair of GT-SS, Nismo injectors fuel reg and pump a while ago. Tuner had a hard-on for the Splitfires so they went on with the last tune, made 300 KillerWasps before the AFM's maxed out. Will pull my finger out and order a pair of Nismos soon and see if we can't bump it up a bit more. How's you rig going? Cheers, JD

  7. Have a complete R33 GTS-T stock exhaust and pair of stock sway bars to give away. PM me if you want to come and pick them up from southside, they will be heading to the tip in the next week or so if nobody wants them. Cheers, JD
  8. Looking for a replacement climate control servo motor to suit R33 GTR, or GTS-T will do as long as it looks like the unit below. This is the part that attaches to the R/H side of the aircon unit and is visible from the drivers side footwell as per pix below. Unit must be in good working order with no broken gears or burnt tracks on the resistor components inside. Please shoot me a PM if you have something. Cheers, JD
  9. What if a whole heap of steel wool found it's way deep into your back muffler, and then a bit of mesh fell on top of that to stop it blowing out? And then after the rego inspection, it all kind of disappeared again?
  10. Jason, Don't know if it's much different to your version, but I posted up a template in the DIY forum a while ago for some stickers that were sized to fit inside the R33 fuse box cover. http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/topic/253391-diy-r33-dashboard-fuse-box-stickers Cheers, JD
  11. I've got one of those dent popper kits that use a bit of hot glue and a plastic bridge thingy to pull dents like that out. You're welcome to give it a try.
  12. After seeing a black BA falcon with DTS branding in action on the Monaro highway this morning, there is no way I would let someone stupid enough to drive like that in peak hour traffic ever touch one of my cars. /Rant
  13. Just wondering if anyone has an old R33 sidemount intercooler they don't want anymore? Doesn't matter if the core is buggered, as I will just be using one of the end tanks from it with another old cooler I already have to make a top mount for my 4X4 turbo. Cheers, JD
  14. Probably the easiest way to find the leak is to strip all the lining out of the boot and jump inside with a torch while your mum* runs water from a garden hose over the closed boot lid. You can usually see where it's coming in. * Important note - your mates are no good for this job, they'll leave you in there for sure Oh, and I think I have a spare GTR pump somewhere if you are looking to upgrade sometime.
  15. Hey, at least I left you enough room to get into your secret driveway I'm lovin the fact I can keep up with some of the traffic going up the hill on the Monaro now, having a new engine helps...
  16. I did mine last year, can't really say how much difference it made because it went on at the same time as a whole heap of other upgrades. Thread in the ACT forum: http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/Gt...id-t300281.html
  17. HKS hard pipe kit from Brisvegas: http://www.cj-motor.com/store/index.php?ma...products_id=404 That kit seems to be discontinued on Nengun. They also make a Premium Suction kit for some of the intake pipes, but don't see a 32 version listed..... http://www.nengun.com/hks/premium-suction
  18. Sorry Kat, didn't look hard enough. Same still goes for the smaller top sillicon bend, from memory the HKS kits (4 hard pipes, 8 sillicon joiners + clamps) were around the $700 mark. Got mine from Brissy, can try and find the sellers name if you like, or there's always Nengun or Jessie Streeter. I didn't replace the larger sillicon pipe on the back turbo intake, but there is probably a universal pipe around that would fit.
  19. Kat, I just replaced the top hose in your picture with a no-name 45 degree sillicon elbow. Just found one the right inside diameter and trimmed both ends down to size. The two lower pipes look like HKS? You'd be better off keeping those hard pipes, maybe just replace the sillicon joiners if they are getting old. Cheers, John
  20. Lol, these are pretty small and have been together for quite a while with no ripping apart happening. But yeah, the big ones can be pretty nasty critters. Mine will probably just end up back at Jem Aquatics where they came from.
  21. The inspector was probably referring to the fact that the engineering cert is only valid if the vehicle is registered within 3 months of issue. Says this on the form: This certificate must be presented to the RTA within three months of the date of issue if the vehicle is to be registered. The RTA may not accept a certificate if it is presented more than three months after its date of issue. Sample of the form here: http://www.rta.nsw.gov.au/registration/dow...3march_2010.pdf Of course anything could happen when they replace the existing vehicle standards with VSCCS sometime this year.
  22. Forgot to say thanks to Ross, Niko and all the ESP and Supra boys for organising the day and making us feel welcome. And Donnan for organising us SAU rabble as well. Struck me more as a group of car nuts getting together for a fun day out than any sort of club vs club thing. Went to a similar day @ ESP a while ago with the Celica club guys, and apart from the bastards continually referring to my car as "The Datsun", like last Sunday proved that in the end badges don't really matter that much.
  23. My mum's really old Niko, but I can see if she's available if you like And yes, we've all done something like that at some stage. Welcome to The Gutter Club.
  24. None of the above, but willing to consider a trade for a GTS-T
  25. Gutter 1 Supra 0
