  1. Hi guys I have a 95 S1 R33 and have been searching the tutorials and the forum in general but I am not having much luck and was wondering if someone might be able to point me in the right direction to where they are if any. I am looking to swap out my clutch in the next couple of weeks and after doing some research it looks like while I have the box out I should replace the gearbox seals & rear engine seal? I am a bit of a noob to car mechanics but I have plenty of tools and have rebuilt a couple of motorbikes, so I thought that I would try and save my self some cash and do this myself. I think I have a idea on removing the box after research but cannot find much on the seals side of things. I have a friend who has changed clutches on other cars who will be helping me out to, so looking for a how to on the following. clutch replacement, rear engine & gearbox seal's replacement. Thanks in advance for any help given.
  2. Ok thanks for your replies, think I'll go with a electronic controller! The car came with a service history and had just had a good service ect. Will be putting a new set of plugs in it at the weekend.
  3. Hi guys I am a bit of a newb with turbo set ups and have just brought my first turbo powered car a S1 R33! At the moment I am running a turbo smart boost controller with the stock gauge that does not seem to be very accurate and only reads up to 7psi. I would really like to upgrade this and I am trying to work out weather to get a gauge and stay with my turbo smart mechanical controller or to go the electronic one, so I am looking at for and against's. Am I right in assuming that with the electronic controller I can adjust the amount of boost and it will tell me how much boost I am running? Also as far as fitment is concerned I would like to have a go at fitting it myself and I was wondering if the electronic one would be fairly straight forward for me to hook up or would I have to pay someone to do it? I do have basic mechanical knowledge with motorbikes ect but not real good with electronics. Thanks Andy
  4. Hi guys just thought that I would put up some pics of my car to see what you think of it? Its a S1 R33 I have only had the car a couple of weeks, performance wise its fairly stock apart from a computer and exhaust. I dont plan on going to crazy with mods but I do have a couple of things I want to get for it in the near future. Thanks
  5. Hi guys, new to the SAU to I thought that I would say a quick hello! My name is Andrew and I live on the NSW / QLD border ( Tweed Heads ) I am in my late thirties and thinking that I may be going through a midlife crisis Always wanted a skyline / turbo car but always been to wrapped up in motorbikes to get around to buying one, but recently I bit the bullet and brought a series 1 R33 GTS-T. I am hooked already, love it! Unfortunately I have experienced a few problems with the car already after owning it a few days funny how none of these problems present their selves on the test drive or the 1 hr drive home. But hopefully I can get them sorted and get back on the road. Thanks
