thanks guys for your response, problem with shipping glass / fragile item is that most normal transport company wont gurantee insure it unless you use a company that specialise in fine arts ( apparently ) I have used something similar for transporting Servers and they arnt cheap. BTW - I did give Scotty a call. The thought of driving to Melb myself did cross my mind, but im dealing with the insurance preferred agent. This is the first accident i have had in 15 years ( 10yrs in R33 and 4yrs in M35 )

Dont really want to spend the coin, Insurance company allows one free glass replacement a year capped at $1K Going thru insurance preferred agent, apparently none in sydney wreckers. Im told. Unlesss someone has one in Sydney - I'll call around just to make sure there is none before i order off nissan.

Long story short, wasnt paying attention in car park - looking at reverse camera and not out the windows. Happened at Westmead Childrens carpark on split lvl. so will cost me roughly $1515.80 to fix where my insuarance will only cover $1000 and I have to foot the rest. Currently no wreckers have stagea rear windows. Is this normal price coming from nissan brand new including install. 6-8 week leadtime.
