Solex locks arent that good. They tend to jam up after a bit of exposure to weather. Then the keys break trying to undo the lock.

I used a GPS to get an accurate reading, got to 235kmh doing about 6000rpm in 5th, then I regained my sanity and slowed down. Took a while to get there though

Whats wrong with psi?

My fuel gauge does not work correctly anymore. It used to be spot on, but now it says its full for about 350kms then suddenly it drops down to empty, then goes to half full, then when I fill the tank up it takes nearly 55 litres of fuel. Which shows that the gauge is way of the mark. I asked an autoelectrics company what the problem could be and they said that they have had alot of skylines around the same age with this problem and it would cost a minimum of $400 to fix Has anyone else had this problem?

Mine used to always do it. It was a horrible sound, I cringed everytime I heard it. I took it to Nissan for a service and when I got it back it was fixed. I asked the lass at the front desk how they fixed it and she said she didnt know
