Guys... you have to remember. The government has to make it look like its doing something about the problem. the first thing you hear people say when they see images of a crash involving young drivers in performance cars is "don’t let them have such powerful cars" It’s everyone’s first response and it seems like a good solution. As much of a band aid as it is, by making this the law it makes the government look like its doing something about the issue. It would be interesting to see some statistics on road accidents involving young drivers before and after the legislation was implemented over east
