  3. yeah lightweight shockproof in the box but use MT90 in the diff. I was having a chat with the guy at rare spares and i asked him why this would be and he was going on about the mt90 has an oil treatment additive in it so the diff doesnt clunk and make alot of noise, you can user lightweght shockpoof and you can by the redline oil conditioner to add in so it works better. so i just went the mt90 thats what redline recommend anyway.

  5. personally i use and recommend Motul 300V Chrono for any performance engine. and redline in the diffs and gearbox and in my case the transfercase as well being it's a GTR
  6. I have two un used R34 N1 GTR turbos for sale, brand new and begging to be used. Have only taken them out of the nissan box once to check them and they are in perfect condition being unused you get that. I have posted some pics. 3K for the two of them, or nearest resonable offer.

Hi all, I have 2 R34 GTR N1 turbos for sale obviously i am selling them together, they have never been used and in perfect condition still in the nissan boxes and wrapping, some things have come into my life at the moment and i have no need for them anymore im selling them both for 3K or nearest resonable offer. let me know if your intrested. thought i would see if any locals where interested before i advertise them else where. cheers. PS - also soon the GTR will be up for sale also prolly in the next few months if anyone knows anyone who could be interested.
  8. mine has a 78L tank i usually put in about 60 - 65L cost me like $85 to fill it these days and i will get 450KM sometimes close to 500 depending how hard i have been driving it

I know all this is crazy and im glad its not me going through it but i would never have given them the keys and or driven to the impound. hell they would have to pry my gtr's key from my lifeless hands. hehe plus they would have to catch me!!! :bananaman haha. damn i would put up a fight if i was in your shoes. would have got it home locked it in the garrage and say take it now! plus i would want to see all the evidence up front and there proof it was me... Innocent until PROVEN guilty. i have noticed when cops are confronted with people who know there stuff they usually wont bother, obviously your polite to them but if you say you want to see first hand why my car is being taken and how does it link to my car, take down there names and badge numbers and sargent on duty at the time. and say your not handing over your car they cant forcefully take the keys off you and or make you drive anywhere say your going home first (to collect some stuff..who cares) if anything!! park it in the garrage and say you would now like to see the court order that alows you to come onto my property and take my car. same with anything!! if i get pulled over speeding i ask to see my speed.. i have gotten off plenty of times because they never got my speed they just asumed i was speeding, and ive had plenty of mates get caught when the cop has said i think you were speeding back there and my mates have gone ok ive been busted when the cop prolly never had his speed just saw him in the distance looked like he was. they just hope you make it easy for them and go yeah i was. i have even had cops jam the radar gun in my face saying you were doing this... before i got to say anything i was like... yeah fair enough good job officer... hehe but when asking them to see "the evidence" dont sound smart just sound serious like you genuinely want to know why this is happening and if they cant produce it then why are they saying you did something.... just stuff ive picked up when growing up... half my family were and are still in the police force aunties uncles etc.
  10. hahaha i will keep that in mind. hey does anyone have a picture or copy of the tyre thing for the inside of the door so i can make a dodgy one up. im going to go through another servo and bypass dickson the servo guys will not be as rough they will see its there and not care or look into it.

I have a mate with a R31 with an RB20 and he got a 25 box put in about two years ago. i havent noticed any difference in how it drives... like the gearing. the only thing was the speedo cable didnt fit and he had to get an adaptor which was a hundred or so extra. he was running a 20box before the 25 too.

Nah they said they dont check the side intrusion bars because they dont go ripping the door apart. plus it had been rego'd with an engineering cert so im guessing they just assume its been done... which is one nice thing. just need to get motivated i really cant be bothered at the moment getting everything i need plus money issues its my avitar but here are some more for ya

Yeah i know i needed that stuff but because it had already been regod in aust and all i was doing was changing ownership and changing rego i just needed to go to the servo to get it checked, they passed it and if i had of had a plate with the vin on it i would never have needed to go to dickson. it went over twice before anyone said anything. so i could have been home free... im thinking if i get the vin plate put on and take it to another servo maybe they might pass it and no one is the wiser.. hehe :innocent: nah ill do it right will just be a pain. then once it goes over again they will prolly pick me up for have a small oil leak somewhere..... they always make things hard. dont know if it has side intrusion bars. the guys there said it could but they dont look cause they dont go pulling the inside of the doors off. im guessing it was when it was engineered in NSW cause they did all the mirrors put the unleaded restrictor in the fuel tank must of had child restraints in there but someone has taken them out before me. how do i get hold of that john wilson?? i have to get this all out of the way asap as the car is out of rego now my bad should of got off my arse sooner and done it btw all 4 of my wheels are 17x255 (17x10") so i think ill need them engineered
  18. I am sooooo anoyed!!!! OK first of my car has been engineered and had been rego'd in NSW. i knew there was some stuff missing like high brake light, rear child restraint things, but i got it over and it was cleared for rego in ACT but it was missing the vin plate so they said i needed an ID inspection so i did that and it turned out fine it had just had the new vin number plate from when it was bought into the country missing.. not compliance plate as it didnt need it, so then they said it needs a police check done because if this plate was stollen it could of been used on another car. any way while it was there they decided to check it all again and then they picked up on: High mounted brake light Unleaded sticker near the fuel cap the brackets for the child restraints (holes there no brakets). need to go to an engraver and get a new vin plate made up and i need something on the inside of the drivers door which has tire sizes or something on it... not sure and once i do that i can take it to get inspected again. can anyone tell me what is needed on the inside of the drivers door for wheels or tires or something?? and can i make my own up?? just not sure what is needed there the others are a hassle put shouldnt be a problem

Plus just think, would you prefer to be driving around in a GTS-T or a GTR? i can tell you know GTR has the respect. lets say two cars are driving through town next to each other ones a nuts GTS-T that can pump all the GTR's out there and ones a stock GTR everyone will be going look at that GTR, not look at that GTS-T. Hell since ive bought my GTR i dont speed i give it a good thump every now and then but i sit a little below the speed limit and just cruise no one wants to race exept oter GTR's even cars i know would kill me they just stick there thumbs up and wave. so yeah go the GTR :bananaman
  20. im not saying one is better than the other i would go single if i wasnt so lazy with having to change everything and ive seen awesome results from both, but you cant include WRC in this discussion they are running small single turbos not a big single turbo so of course they will have quick spool up times. hell once there running they dont go off boost due to the anti lag system. so if they but on two smaller turbos to equal the power of the single they use.. hell they would be small... rally teams are wanting reliability over anything you add another turbo in the mix thats one more thing that can go wrong, in a car that is getting the rapping of its life not to mention extra cost in turbos and plumbing. so its sensible to have one, plus there restricted to rules they must keep it close to factory.

  22. yeah thats the one im talking about im not sure if its normal plus mine is a gtr but when i disconnect this vac hose my car doesnt want to boost up like it also controls the solinoids or something. not even sure if its normal for this to happen on a gtr.
  23. My aftermarket boost gauge is T pieced into there but if that vac hose is diconnected from the module my car will not boost up at all. dont know if this is normal but its like it keeps the waste gates open or something the car is NA while that vac hose is off for me.
