  1. lol Yes it's too much for the Australian market. But it is a very low mileage car AND a GT-ES. Hm. Still seems expensive even for the Japanese market. He might also just be testing the waters.
  2. Ah! Forgot about the taxman....... damn tax man... Good stuff. The Americans are really lapping this stuff up lately. Still don't know of any authentic GT-R in the U.S.A., but at this rate it won't be long. Be sure to let us know if something special does make its way over there (or here, as unlikely as that is). P.S. Hyper rev group buy... damnit, no wonder my ones on ebay aren't fetching as much as they should!!!
  3. 280ZX one will fit also. Make sure to get the pedestal if you get one at a wreckers.......!
  4. Damn nice car. It's not rebuilt to "GT-R Specs" though, it "just" has the GT-R look. I dare say it has a fair bit more power than an original GT-R heh heh A good price for all the goodies you're getting!! This over an R34 any day of the week thanks. For people in the know, what exactly does the $7,500 go towards?? I thought there wouldn't be much to do for a 30yr old vehicle in regards to compliance. P.S. That's an S30 not a Kenmeri.
  5. Good stuff. I really would have thought they'd be worth more than that. Bargain btw interesting little "S" marked in the shell of your car in the middle - that's kinda cool! 1,000,000x improvement over our sucky export-spec lights.
  6. YEAR: 1973 MODEL: C110 (GT-R Replica) BODY TYPE: 2-Door Hardtop COLOUR: White
  7. I don't think so, Yotis
  8. Make sure you get the right ones - Z ones wont fit due to steering. I'm looking for some too
  9. The wing mirrors are for a C110, but those a nice hot plates!! Will they fit straight into the standard Aussie wiring + other surrounding metal/plastic parts (ie the centre bit)?
  10. Thanks Ray got my number in the mail today - how many entrants does that make it?
  11. I don't think they are 240Z carbs, or 260Z carbs.
  12. Seibu Keisatsu. You're right, it was a Japanese Movie & TV Series that lasted a long time! The first episodes had C10 Skylines... I think it ended with the R30 and S130. The show was sponsored by Nissan, which is why all the police cars are Nissans. That convertible Gazelle and S130 with gullwing doors are from the same show. Some videos are on YouTube ... here's one The R30 was called "Machine-X"
  13. OK, I have about 100 here and they range from $10 to $130 ... and I'm not going to sort through them all to give individual prices. But ok, so I need to include a ballpark figure. Done. Sorry! Mr. "Sh*tbox", the ones I gave were examples. I have other R31 ones, but most are gone now. I have a range brochure, GTS, GTS-R and a couple more. PM me if interested and I'll give you a detailed list and prices as I have done for everyone else Thanks
  14. PM's sent! Also to note I also have other brochures, Stagea, Silvia etc.

Feel free to reply here or send me a PM if you're looking for something. Some examples of what I've still got are: - C10 Skyline 2000GT (repro + genuine) - C10 Skyline 2000 GT-R (repro) - C110 Skyline 2000GT - C110 Skyline 2000 GT-R (repro) - C210 Skyline 2000GT - R30 Skyline range - R30 Skyline RS - R31 Skyline range - R31 Skyline GTS-R - R32 Skyline range - R32 Skyline GT-R - R33 Skyline coupe - R33 Skyline sedan - R33 Skyline GT-R - R34 Skyline sedan - R34 Skyline coupe - R34 Skyline GT-R PRICE: $10 to $130. I am on the Gold Coast, you're free to pick up or I can post to anywhere in the world for cost-price. I'll accept most methods of payment - cash, money order, bank deposit, personal cheque, paypal...
  16. If you want to get pedantic about semantics, the S54 didn't start "the whole Skyline tradition" either ... but I know you know that
  17. Hey Ray - I will definitely be coming. I really hope Jim will come. There are a lot of people who really want to see a C10 in the flesh.
  18. It is written by Law in Japan that all car movies like this must have cheesy music in the background. ALWAYS!
  19. Manual gearbox.
  20. Yes, tis awesome. That's one MEAN GT-R. Also click on his other videos as he has HS30-H and KPGC110 too, among others.
  21. Ray, I've been handing out these everywhere, in fact I talked to the head of marketing for Mazda Australia today in regards to this, so you might get a phone call soon ... The wait is long, but it'll be worth it.
  22. There were a few SAU members... I thought it was a pretty good turnout to be honest! Compared to #2 anyway. The tunnel was good. Needs to be longer though Would have been cool to do a video of all the cars driving by.
  23. We did the whole thing with axle stands. It was a pity fiddly getting the box fitting onto the spline but realised to get the teeth fitting it was easiest to have one person moving the shaft atthe back of the box at the same time as wiggling the box in. Sorry if that's a poor explanation..... Got spigot bush?
  24. They're pretty damn heavy. We used two jacks and three people to be safe. It was easy enough, just keep the box stable as you lower it down. You might want to unbolt one of the front wheels so that you can get the box out easily once removed. Sure you've got everything you need?
  25. Some of these models are amazing guys!! Wow, that Lotus... I've done a few plastic kits but I really SUCK at painting the shells. I have never done a good paint job. Though my 1:12 240ZG was turning out quite well, until I ran out of paint and left it on the shelf. Here's my models I collect 1:18 diecasts. Here's my classic Skylines and Z's. I have a R32 as well but it's one of those dodgy "Initial D" ones. Got to get a good one some day... as well as a Z432-R. I made a 1:24 C110 Skyline 4-door that turned out OK, but again, the paint wasn't too good. Clicky Clicky Also a KPGC110, unfortunately I spent too much time on the details (like painting engine bolts and making the engine look "used" when the bonnet doesn't even lift up ), only to completely f*&$ it up at the end with the most aweful paint job you've ever seen. Ran out of Tamiya white (they come in the most ridiculously small cans dont you think) so made the mistake of using cheap household spray paint...... Never again. Clicky Clicky But my pride and joy is the 1:12 Tamiya Nissan 240ZG. I spent a lot of time on it a year or two ago, but have left it on the shelf when I got bored during painting the shell. I made the mistake of painting the doors in grey before painting the whole thing maroon... soo it acted as a kindof undercoat. So the doors are a tad darker. Anyway here are some progress pics Engine Completed. Battery Completed. Steering Wheel Completed (unfortunately the "wood" didn't turn out as red as it should have). Dashboard semi-complete. Door Cards Completed. Hubcaps Completed. Shell prior to painting... (getting all the mould lines off it) edit: made the pictures links instead, was a little excessive!
