Hi Alan - couldn't resist eh? Yes I think Ben hit it home saying that the C210 was available with both EFI and Carb from the word "go"... I had thought that... but I think I was writing that question too fast (yes, an off day Ben!!) - I was more interested in what happened in the Australian market - Steve said that he thinks it was only EFI nearing the release of the R30. I bought a C210 Service Manual from Ebay just for fun - perhaps it may give a bit more of a specific insight. Thanks Steve, Ben, Alan for sharing knowledge. Very interesting.. Alan, you mentioned a FI S20 engine - what was that fitted in? This forum sure does have some strange smilies... :bananaman :microwave :whip:

Hiya, question I was just thinknig about today... Were C210/C211's ever fuel injected? I thought they were, but come to think of it I don't think I've seen any pics... If so, when did they convert? :bond:

Jim, I had always thought you were missing the C-pillar badges! I had forgotten all about those... indeed, the car doesn't look like it's missing anything without them. I do, however, think it would look better with them on. I think it's no badges, or all badges - no via media! Here is an attachment of one with no badges - sexxxyyyy!

I never saw a KPGC10 in GT3 - don't think it exists. In GT2 it does though, along with a 240ZG. GT4 should be nice, but I'm disappointed in some respects (I want MORE older cars, damage, and aero parts). Also, did the R30 come stock with a mismatching rear bumper?

Guys, I'm interested to know if anyone knows the legalities about fender mirrors. I'm assuming they are not legal for most cars, with a cutoff date to allow older cars with them to keep them. It probably varies state to state too, but anyone have any experience with this? Lachlan.

Anyway, I think we addressed the VIN thing in a previous topic at www.classicZcars.com but just to clarify again, the VIN prefix for the GT-R was KPGC110, but no other model had this same code. The P indicated the S20 engine as you probably know...
