  1. Ska, what driveline parts have been changed in your car, doing the conversion myself right now, i will be swapping the diff with a NISMO item later when i can afford it...
  2. thats pretty cool! i use that little dip as well to store stuff, better then it flapping around in the back..
  3. Yeh my windscreen looks pretty bad, no big stone chips, but even after a wash there are white specs everywhere... When im driving along and hear a stone hit it and make a *ching* noise, i say in my brain "CRAP!" BTW, probably a lot easier to get stagea windscreens in QLD then the rest of Aus as stags a been around there a lot longer, and surly some company (as is apparent) saw there was some money to be made.
  4. Manual conversion -> PowerFc -> No piggy backs needed Hence, i am also trying to offload my DFA if someone wants it, i want the 79.95 that the kit cost, its already built and calibrated ready to go into the car, just never got around to installing it.... As always, will post Auswide
  5. If anyone is interested in a used SITC I can supply it for $200+postage to you...
  6. Ok, well as everyone would know, i am going for the manual conversion. I have decided to go with the r33 GTR gearbox, as Stagezilla, as its supposed to be the correct length to not require a new driveshaft Sooo, one thing i am doing differently to Stagezilla is that i am going for just a GTST master. At the same time as buying the master, i bought a GTST slave, GTST pedal set (clutch/brake/accel). Now, i know that the r33 gtst is a PUSH style clutch system, but someone explain to me what i am talking about below. First, here a picture of a R33 GTR slave on yahoo JP. And the clutch setup with mock attachment to master Now, here is what i am experiancing. With this clutch/master (which is pretty generic inc same as GTR) when the clutch is pressed, pressure is built up in the master, therefore causing pressure in the line, and eventually makes the piston at the slave PUSH out. Now, considering i dont know the main difference between PUSH/PULL, the only way that i can see that it could "pull"(as a gtr should/need to go for gearbox) the clutch would be a) for the little rod to be welded to the piston inside, and then the fluid from the lines to enter the "forward" chamber to "push" the piston back, causing it to pull the clutch B) the pivot point on the clutch to be BELOW where the master attaches to the clutch, therefore making the master "pull" the pressure into it, casuing the welded little rod to be pulled back. Now, i reckon there would be a lot of strain if it was actually pulling... soooo... option c is that it just mounts on the other side of the clutch, meaning all i would need is new lines between the master and the slave, which i wanted to get from Maltech anyway.... Sooo, anyone got any ideas... PS, if you cant tell, im new to this PUSH/PULL thing At the moment, the only thing holding me going ahead is waiting on my gearbox to arrive, powerFC and also sorting out this push/pull thing, otherwise, ill be finished within 1-2 months.
  7. Well, ive bought off Martin twice, great bloke, we talk for about 30-40 minutes both times about stuff when i was picking up First, i bought a catback...easy transaction Second, wanter clutch master/slave brake/clutch pedal. Gave me the accel pedal too just to make a set Good prices for the stuff too, so its great deal for me. BTW, if my call doesnt get answered, i call back and normally 2-3 time gets picked up? Also, you guys may want to try and organize your own shipping, as not everyone is a mega cool crazy shipping guru, specially for shit like doors or other big things.
  8. damn, i f**king hate shit like that on my celsior my front bar got smashed! AND I GOT IT CONTAINER SHIPPED!! But yeh, trust me, JVC, bang for buck. I got the KD-505, great headunit for the price $230 i think for a MP3/Cd etc headunit
  9. handbrake, lever and assembly. Very VERY interested, PM me
  10. Anyway, unless you have reversed all the images or at least that photo of the mirror, i beleive my next picture will explain why i say its a passenger mirror Using your car, and the photo of the mirror you took, i compiled the below diagram
  11. clearbridge-g Try this one instead then http://stores.ebay.com.au/Clear-Bridge
  12. My username, heres my shop http://search.ebay.com.au/_W0QQfgtpZ1QQfso...clearbridgeQ2dg I will always take opportunities to do business, just at the moment due to the lack of numbers selling stagea stuff just isnt worth it... + i do home products..
  13. i have it on the dash next to the 4WD light.... Or, that area...
  14. Handbrake lever and assembly, not the cable Where you located, PM me as i want this in the next two/three days
  15. Oh, when i first got the car mechanically inspected, the guy who did the inspection said to me "Its an interesting car you choose, you dont see many people your age buying cars like this" THAT, that made me smile
  16. I clocked on 18 in april, Last year or so I started and run a business with help from my parents and sell over the internet, on eBay actually. My postal runs are quite large ($300 each few days) and therefore i carry a lot of sheit. Also, i always need to just carry stuff around in general, i am one of those garage sale/auction lovers, soo -> hence, wagon Plus, i want to be different. I dont want a skyline, 180, silvia etc just because, its so attractive to the police and also EVERYone has one (well not really, but get the idea) I understand the disadvantages of starting with my base platform as a wagon, but i cant wait until i get it handling a bit better, bit more power, bit better braking and a bit sexier. On the up side, depending how long i keep this car, i wont ever get the "honey, sell your car, its too small" later in life. So if i sink $50k into the car, at least i can enjoy it for many years to come without fear of spousal resistance Oh, funnly enough, my girlfriend didnt like the stagea at first "It looks like a herse!" Now, we wash to together and she is the one saying "Damn it looks sexy"
  17. Ok, to clear this stuff up The sync buton makes an orange/yellow light on the dash come one that looks like this Snow button: Doesnt use first gear Sync button: 50:50 split front/rear My questions, Why doesnt Ians manual stagea have the 50:50 split? Its more for traction etc, and sure the system is fast enough anyway, but...why?
  18. Well, it looks more like a passenger side mirror to me?
  19. When i put mine in snow mode (on the trans), it just starts me in 2nd gear. Like, i get bogged down launches and so forth. The sync button is tottally different to snow, it makes certain its full time 50:50, and not variable as normal driving, therefore making it like its got a central transfer case which is permanently geared to run X split
  20. Well, i wanted them in plastic but freddy said thats no good because they dint (as in, get chuncks taken out of them on impacts) Sooo...will get them made out of flexible FRP (fibre reinforced plastic, aka, fibreglass). This is what i am talking about, http://www.nissansilvia.com/forums/index.p...howtopic=116435
  21. Snow mode doesnt adjust power, snow mode just doesnt use first gear. Snow mode is on the transmission, syncronise is on the dash (S in middle of 4 wheels) Oddly, Ians manual stagea didnt have teh S button feature, but Ska's manually converted one does...?? Odd ey?
  22. Well let me show you something. STD strut bar on R34 GTX turbo STD strut bar on Stagea The strut tops look indentical, as do the strut bars. This bar should clear the engine too as from the looks of things, the R33 engine sits higher then the R34 RB25...
  23. I drove with teh S mode on to uni and back today. For some reason i even notice more midrange in the car, compared to just normal driving. I find it also goes around roundabouts and uturns/courts a lot quicker with less understeer..
  24. NRGIZD, like i said, i have a DFA here and built which i wont be needing anymore due to getting a power FC, they RRP at 79 in kit form, and i dont mind giving mine to you at that price built. You will need the hand controller with it too, but they are pretty easy to build as well (i need to keep my controller for my EBC) The DFA is also pretty easy to install, and i can also just send you right to the person that was going to tune mine with me Dr Drift.
