  1. OH! PINEAPPLES! Ill be getting a set of that then, would love the springs and shocks too...ill see how money goes.
  2. What does the subframe alignment do? Will i notice it? Is it hard to install?
  3. I can get someone to mould them for us. Not sure on prices but he is a good mate www.topstage.com Can get CF, FRP, Plastic, whatever we want... i prefer plastic (doesnt crack/break in crashes/bottomings out)
  4. Man, do aftermarket headunit. Decent JVC mp3 headunit like mine is only ~$200-250
  5. Oh, i just read the post above! Same problem... what to do now!! ::(: i dont know how they fit r33.... Your lucky... i did it at home with jack stands and all... much harder, more cuts on hand etc... Not sure what to do now... does any one have std dump and front pipe they can send BTML, he can make something up for us hopefully as i dont want to wait TOO long for something from japan.
  6. I just tried to fit the Stainless steel split dump pipe from BOSimporting. It didnt fit. The bend in it was not enough, i mean, the two top bolts dont sit flat, there is a gap. As for the angles and stuff, it all seemed OK. Another issue i had was the O2 sensor didnt fit, meaning the O2 hit the exhaust manifold...so thats the final straw, no way to get around that. Not sure what i will do now...
  7. Some pics of each please. I only really interested in the front bar.
  8. Thats awesome man, Could you by any chance give us a parts list? Also, any more details on that PFC? Id be doing the conversion on an RB25DET...rb26 too$$ for me **EDIT, where do you live now?? Still in japan by any chance?**
  9. Series 2 eyelids on ebay, http://cgi.ebay.com.au/Nissan-Stagea-Serie...1QQcmdZViewItem
  10. Stagea-RS-Four, have a look at this thread... its still on the first page of threads infact... http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/in...showtopic=83936
  11. It depends what parts they are giving you. If that is gaurds, lights, bonnet and all, GO FOR IT. MASA kit is ~6k As for spraying a car... one this big...custom color....i wouldnt pay any less them 4-6k for a paint job. I want a black paint job, and my mates a painter, so ill probably get a black job for ~1.5k As for install, its pretty basic, you COULD even do it yourself, depending how technically minded you are... I say, dont bother, its a stagea not an R34. If you want R34 front, get an R34 (roughly same price anyway)
  12. There is a guy on carsales selling his Stagea, he is in Glen Waverley area. His number is on his listings, i contacted him and im gonna meet up with him next week some time. I really want to discuss his brembo brake setup...and some other stuff... but yeh, when we organize something, ill invite him along too (assuming he isnt already on this site and going to invite himself)
  13. I heard seat rails in skylines are fine 32->34, so if you get rails with the seats should be bolt in. Else points on the seats may not match stagea rails, but rails will match floor...get it?? :S
  14. What front bar is it? Just the standard RSFour front bar? If so, lucky my car is white too, can i grab it off you? I want a front bar to chop up for...reasons
  15. Dude, you are Monash uni? If so...so am i
  16. Eye lids make cars look sad...(i dont mean, like looser sad, i mean emotion sad)
  17. How about we organize something now and if more people are from melbourne, they can just say. As for me, i study during most days. Ill assume most people are busy weekdays, so i am free any weekend as long as i get about 1 weeks notice, prefer saturdays as i do homework sundays, but they are still fine. What would people want to do? Just meet up and chat? BBQ? Cruise somewhere(then BBQ??). Hills view or Beach? etc etc Suggestions would be good. My preferences : On a nice day like today (may not be this arvo) cruise up into some BBQ place in the Dande's. Buy some meat on the way somewhere, snags etc. No drinking for me, P's still Cook em up and talk over food?
  18. Probably due to them migrating eveything over from the last version of the board. maybe they havnt done the older stuff yet?
  19. Ok, done... http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/in...showtopic=85278 Hope that helps some people. Whole process takes about 10 minutes, removal and install
  20. Move the console off to the side, no need to unplug anything. I have extra stuff down there (hi/low boost switch) If you have two hands, i didnt (camera) put the screw driver in the two locations. Put them pretty deep so that they get behind the vent. The vent will just pop off once you have done that Remove the screws that hold the stereo surround on. Also there are some clips. On my car, they were really loose and easy to pop off It will just slide off now. There are screws under the above the frame of the units. Make sure you remove the lower ones first. be careful not to drop any. If you do, when you remove the whole unit you will be able to grab them. Once the screws are out, the unit will drop a bit. Its fine, dont get scared. The unit will now just drop off. Pull it out and do what is desired Screws for the stuff are on the side. When you remove things there are also "indents" that hold the units in. You MAY need to flex the frame a little to pull anything out (i was like wtf when i had to remove my DIN slot) To reinstall, follow the reverse. All the screws are the same, so dont worry about mixing them up. Good luck. I cant offer wrie diagrams as i didnt install the headunit myself, maybe someone else can post them here and ill update the post.
  21. Thanks to STAGE-A for the wiring 12V ------- Brown with white stripe Ignition -------- light blue with yellow stripe Lights -------- Red with blue stripe Earth -------- Just use the stereo metal brackets and heres the speaker connection wires (stagea s1 at least) left front ---- blue (+) black with white stripe (-) right front ---- brown (+) black with red stripe (-) left rear ----- mint green (+) black with yellow stripe (-) right rear ---- orange (+) black with pink stripe (-) Useful tip guys and girls: Always use a circuit tester as opposed to a test light, and always be very careful when doing so! Test lights, when used incorrectly, have been known to trigger air-bags, leading to a hell of a lot of wasted cash and a big clean-up, not to mention any personal injury that may occur when a bag goes off while you're in such close proximity to the dash and/or the steering wheel. The force and speed at which an air-bag inflates is not something you'd really want to experience first hand. Tip if your hookin up a DVD playa as i did and want to be able to play when your driving (not just when you have the foot brake on) simply connect the hand brake wire from the deck with the earth wire from the deck and earth them both together. simple!! WARNING technically this is illegal and im not advising you to do this if your screen is in the front. So lets get started ripping that sucker out! Pull out the ash tray and remove the screw from behind it Remove all your stuff from your centre console. Stick in the screw driver here. You can also pull from the indent thing where you put things, pull up. Make sure the car is not in park, otherwise it wont come out. I just put it in N or something Now that your console is off, unplug the ciggie lighter plugs from the back of it
  22. Ok, Thats it, i am making a tutorial!! Back in 10 minutes with pictures and a new thread.
  23. What suspension do you have in there right now? Do you want to swap just for compliance or do you want to swap full stop. Being in melbourne, i wouldnt want to do a swap just for compliance, but if you have something nice in there, maybe we can organize a permanent swap of some kind??
  24. Burns and i think michealquinn (spelling on that one) are from melbourne. I was going to send a PM around with details to meet up, but that would be good to meet up, then we chat about things. Plus, i would love to talk to Burns about his, having already done FMIC and stuff, could help me out.
  25. Its quite simple, but i have no issues pulling stuff apart. 1. Remove ashtray 2. Remove surround around gear stick 3. Stick two screw drive between the dash and the top of the vents, pop them out. There are 4 clips holding it in, dont worry. 4. Pop of stereo surround 5. Undo the screws at the bottom and at the top *from memory now* 6. pull out the whole unit, all three things are stuck together 7. undo the screws on the side 8. you will need to pull pretty damn hard to get the thing out, so best to flex the metal case in some way 9. it comes out. 10. do what you want. Reverse for install. **there may be some things i forgot, but if it looks like it should come out, it probably should come out.**
