I dropped into jaycar today and bought the IEBC and DFA, ill borrow mates controller/cable for now as its out of stock until August!! Ill get the stagea next week (just buying it of Kirra101 now) and hopefully by then i will have made the DFA. Ill borrow my mechanics A/F meter and do some road tuning next weekend SK, whats your opinion of road tuning the DFA? Do i need something that logs the air fuel ratio so it can be properly smoothed? If thats the case, i may just get it done on the dyno after i find a cheap GTT intercooler too

Anyone know where i can get one? I dont REALLY wanna buy from JP but the stagea i am buying doesnt come with a front one...probably removed before it came to australia... damn ey! Anyway, yeh, anyone know...maybe something custom too?

I was just looking around, the K&N equivalent of the A360 panel filter is the 33-2031-2 That part is the same for all 180's, Skylines with RB25's etc so i assume its the same for the stagea. hehe, yeh, i found him at the top of this thread , but when he was selling on forum before, he didnt advertise that new model...which has really tickled my fancy.

So can someone confirm that the R33 GTST dump and front should fit a 97 RS4? That looks pretty nice doesnt it? from http://www.bosimporting.com.au/ Would probably look to get that one mixed with one of the larger cats. Should i just look around for a cheap 2nd hand R33 or R32 GTST catback and then just mod it a bit?

well, i have found my stag.... waiting on finance anyway, are the seat rails on the 97 stag same as r33? i want to get a bucket seat, but need adjustable rails for it to be legal...thinking to just buy some bride rails... anyway, anyone got any idea?

Honestly, just get the jaycar unit...and the IEBC...since installing the EBC in a s14 on the weekend, i stand by it!

Pull over during a test drive and tell them you are going to check if there is an LSD. Put it in D, hold the brake down, push accelerator until the car creeps, at the same time floor it and release the brakes, then feather the brakes. Hopefully you get some type of wheel spin, look at the rear if it left marks, 2 marks = LSD :Pimp2:

Well, i need to sell this car, want to buy a stagea. The new air sus should arrive this week, ill be putting it in on the weekend. Also just bought new pads, about to machine the disks and its been kept in really good condition. Located in melbourne, price is 19500(with compliance and rwc, will need rego) and only slightly negotiable. I gaurentee you will not find a better condition VIP around for its age(99.99% of their air suspensions will be screwed/about to break, trust me, read around). Does the stagea (series 2 with neo engine) share the R200 diff with the skyline? I am wondering if you can just put a R200 centre in the stagea diff, thanks, Alex

was that to be imported, or one already in the country. I think when i buy mine ill get one in the country already, fly to brisbane or something and then drive it abck looking at a 2000 model rs4.... but dammit none have LSD's!!

does anyone know what the rear LSD part number is and if a GTR diff would fit. its a pain that the RS4 v doesnt come with LSD, but the S does... i personally treasure an LSD above all else... but yeh, anyone know?

i had my car arrive fine, i got container shipped... its a vip celsior right i went and saw it at the storage area wherer it got unloaded... then it was sent for steam cleaning and then i got it towed to my place...... the front bar was cracked in 2 and the rear scractched up... i am getting it fixed now and gonna fit them the bill as for getting something stolen... no,... nothing... but it was container.

firstly, if its got a r34 front you wont be able to get complaince... it has to be 100% stock to how it came from the factory.

just get the 4wd model and the TS dancer atessa controller.. well thats what i am planning to do ill be joing these discussion in a few months... got to sell two VIP's first

dont worry you are fine, your car can still be complianced as a 15yo+ car, just cars that get approval after today need RAW's compliance.
