  1. Na Na Na, you guys have got it all wrong. They dont need to be round, they need to be FLAT and the car lowered with bigger skirts! Like that... Otherwise, if it was a bit rounder it would be alright
  2. So is... for example say A stock highflow EBC DFA SITC Tuned Bilstein/Whiteline full suspension kit Trust FMIC/Custom pipes (No chassis cutting) Splitfires Full exhaust 200 odd awkw Is that over modified? Or modified at a sensible level
  3. I will be leaving Melbourne on Wednesday the 3rd at 6pm, will arrive in Canberra that night. Leaving Canberra on Sunday morning. I think the ideal time to meet would be Thursday afternoon, as I shall be at Summernats Friday/Saturday. So a Canberrian organize something
  4. Very good point. That way people can always have a motive in the future too, less initial investment but same return over the long term.
  5. I wouldnt think that thats anything to worry about. Mine does 100% the same thing, is 100% spot on the alignment settings, is almost brand new suspension bits. One thing I did notice though, is Stagea steering is very very light when compared to my Camry.
  6. Thats like me also, I want completely stock too Maybe its best for someone to advertise the car, with the parts on, for price X and say will reduce the price of the car for whatever parts can be taken off? So that way, its minus 1500 off the price for the turbo, minus 1500 for the suspension kit and so on and so forth. For example, I know when I buy a car, if it has a stereo, I will always ask for the stereo to be removed, even though I know myself that I will later put a stereo in it. But then again, here is the question. Do people still feel the same about buying a demodified stock car, or does it really have to be "stock". Meaning, its a modificaiton virgin.
  7. So here is the question people. Sell a properly modified 200+ awkw Stagea (for around 17-20k), or sell a stocko S1.5 for about 13-14k and the rest of the parts off as 2nd hand goodies? I know these things are hard to sell, so just would like to know from a buyers perspective do you want a stocko Stagea or a quick one? I know jay had a really hard time selling his but I think that was more because people thought it would be hard to get a RWC etc with well..the top mount turbo and all BTW. I am not looking to sell my car. Just want to start a discussion on the matter for people looking to sell in future. I have just seen heaps of Stageas for sale and just wonder.
  8. HAHAH, gold gold!
  9. As someone said above, its the increased caster in the steering wheel that will make the car wander on the road. Dont worry, its completely normal and my stagea suffers from it on a daily basis.
  10. I did a sale of R33 GTST strut bars, fit 100% on the stagea's
  11. Its a different style of modifications that not many people can appreciate. I like it for its crazyness, but would never do that shit to my car. Its like all the crazy celsiors etc etc. Just think about the work that went into it and the degree of modifications, thats whats more impressive than the look
  12. Resonators are designed to cut out certain resonance frequencies. Most people these days dont think, just chuck it in and think it will make a difference. You need to make sure you get the correct resonators, for the correct frequencies you want to cut out (aka, the drone)
  13. I am happy that I didnt get a RWD car as a first car, because I know it would have killed me already. As much as I say "I want good fuel eco, ill drive like a granny" at any chance to overtake you just have that power under you feet. Honestly, get a shitter and just learn to drive it, THEN, get a powerful car and learn to drive faster. I am happy my first car was a 4wd, its saved my ass a few times around corners and the such. Thats why you hear about RWD cars just "spinning out" accidently, but thats BS, its just someone gave it too much stick. That wouldnt happend with a AWD car/underpowered.
  14. Cannons are OK for manual cars, they are loud but you can deal with it because the revs pretty much DONT move around. With an auto, its shitty because the revs can change between 1500rpm and 3000rpm all at the same speed, aka, 80kph. This is where the annoying drone comes from (Fark you torque converter!)
  15. At this stage Leaving boxing day, driving up to the major theme parks in QLD, then driving down to Canberra for summernats 5/6/7/8th of January.
  16. Exhaust technologies is where my exhaust is from, 110% happy. Magnaflow mufflers are also nice and quiet with good flow. DO NOT GET A CANNON. Listen to me, ive have three exhausts on my Stagea and the one with a cannon was the worst! The single cabin doesnt help and the drone is intolerable for normal driving. Booting it is fine, sounds mad, but I much much much prefer my oval mufflers!
  17. $10,000 for a turbo kit? Whats in the kit?
  18. 6 inch splits in the front 6 inch 2 ways in the rear 4 or 5 channel (if want sub or not) amp under the passenger seat (optional) sub in the boot
  19. "Brazen", old school poster! Varietta now ey? Good fun cars, apart from, well, being N/A What did you end up getting for your S2?
  20. I got no clue, but when you find out, I want one!
  21. Ive got a full Hertz/Audison system, no subs at all and its still good. If I was to get some subs, I just run a single Fosgate/Kicker/MOMO 12 inch sub, not overkill and just enough. Dont forget that stageas are single cabin too
  22. Did you steal my car and park it next to yours?
  23. I understand what you guys are saying now. Good point.
  24. OMG, S2 in red!! Im in love!
