  1. I have pictures on my other laptop, but I need to fix that before I can post em. I dont have rear badges, the one that says "Stagea" and "RSFour" has been removed. The front unicorn i've removed and one time I actually tried to remove the "RSFour" badge up front too, but it just looked too weird as the grill is moulded into a space for it. I am not a fan of badged/stickered up cars, so thats why I did it. I like it more personally. Keeps people wondering.

  5. I was watching this on the 7:30 report last night, NT's drink driving numbers are EIGHT times the national average. Then they started talking about single passenger vehicle roll overs and talked about people not wearing seat belts and being drunk. BUT, to combat that.............................................they've reduced the speed limits. No seat belt + rollover at ANY speed = death Drunk + ANY speed can = death... FFS. Speed limits wont stop drunk people speeding!
  6. Get a stagea? SHIT YEAH Are they slow? Stock, yes Are they heavy? Yes Do they drink fuel? Yes But you know what, you will love that car so SO much after 1 month that none of that will matter. Splash a little cash and it becomes the ONLY car you'll ever want. Ask anyone here, we all LOVE them.
  7. No, 260RS's ended with Series 2 models. Last ones were 01/02, when all the good japanese sports cars ended (Silvia, Turbo Skylines, Supra, RX7, etc)
  8. As of yet still to decide the fate of my stagea. If it takes the RB26 journey, no point to put a cooler on just yet, if it just gets taken off later.

  11. The S1 has 3->4 after the speed limiter, so around 180kph. Kinda annoying it hits the speed limiter but I know it has more to go
  12. I paid $560 for one shipped to Melbourne. Ended up costing me another 300-400$ to fit it because it was slighly off and needed some modifications (but hey, its made in a jig so what do you expect)...plus... the rear bar isnt exactly easy to get off
  13. Why are you talking about cubic inches? Cubic = Volume Volume is dependent on length, as V = Surface area x Length. So, if my 10 inch exhaust is 1 inch long, does that mean that my 1 inch exhaust that is 10 inches long has the same flow rate? No, because flow is more highly based on surface area rather than length (Unless you really want to get technical with gas velocity etc) Hence, my use of surface area of a circle (exhaust size) as a comparo. Also, fcruz3r, you will be more than happy with the Apexi muffler, STAGEN has one on his car.....AND I WANNA STEAL IT!

  15. Just a question to Slide, Why would someone swap from a GCG highflow to one of your turbos? Isnt it a downgrade going from BB to TB? To the guy from the thread. I remember when I installed my GCG, there were very strict instructions to do the following - Check the oil/water lines when off the car (I used a pipe cleaner to clean it, then blew through them to be certain they were clean) - Once turbo is on, before connecting the oil drain, crank the engine over until oil comes out the bottom, did that! - Upon first installation, let the car idle for 10 minutes WITHOUT revving it to let the seals settle, did that! - During the last 5 minutes of that 10 minutes, I ran it under some idle load (A/C on, lights on, music on etc) - Checked for oil leaks, none! THEN, ONLY THEN did I take the car out for a drive. You know what, Id never swapped a turbo before that, and guess what, my GCG have no problems what so ever. Be smart, dont be arrogant.

  17. Actually, as a follow up. My biggest fear with HID kits is that the headlight ISNT designed for it (There is a lot of R&D going into headlights) so for example putting HID's into an S1 headlight would not be a good idea (Hence, the people that do retrofitting). But, because the S2 is designed for HID's, would there be any issue just using an aftermarket HID kit? Is there any physical difference between the HID and non HID headlights on S2's? Anyone know?
  18. I want to put HID's on my S2 front. What are the chances a compliance shop would sell some to me off a car they need to remove them on? Otherwise, whats everyone suggest? Yahoo?

  22. Max's towbar has towed two cars with my Stagea. BTW, SK has an R32 GTST not a GTR Ska Soon it will be towing an S14 show car around and an S14 drift car.
  23. Ska - meh, 2=3 Id probably prefer twin 2's though, the % is only about 10% but ground clearance would be greatly improved, at least by 1/2 an inch (1.252cm)
