  1. You're going to make a profit
  2. *pats your back* Its ok
  3. Ill tell you now, ive been planning this for 6 months now and canceled, you CANT do 3k drive in drive out THats just a gearbox/clutch and clutch assembly, plus labour, interior etc etc
  4. Its in the box next to the battery. The big blue and brown things. A relay is an electromechanical switch, operated by passing current through a coil of wire wound around a steel core, which acts as an electromagnet, pulling the switch contact down to make or break a circuit. The way it works for IGN is that you turn the key to the ignition on bit and the relay connects the battery with the starter motor, therefore starting the motor. Then when you let go, the key just goes back. I am not sure, i am just suggesting from experiance. It doesnt explain why the car just shut off though. Also, if the starter motor went the car would run until stopped, just wouldnt start again right?
  5. Previously ive had an issue with a friends car where the ignotion relay was stuck open or closed, swap the relay in the bonnet around, maybe take on from say... the sunroof/rear boot or something useless and put it in the IGN place. Just a thought, worth a try?
  6. What? 4wd is acceleration, brakes is slowing power? So SK, when is the brake group buy going to happend then? All machined down and RTR?
  7. AH, $35 including postage! Im an idiot. Ok, westpac->westpac, its instant, ill do it right now. Please send mine monday too Thanks
  8. Where is my postage quote so i can dd you the money? ....
  9. Can you overcool ATF? I have access to a 10x17inch transcooler, but compare that to your 10x11 inch coolers, its about 70% larger in size.
  10. Maybe around ~500 for calipers all round, new rotors are 400 a pair, new pads are 200 a pair. SK, even in straight line mega dry conditions, 100 to 0, i cant lock the ABS up. And ive got the braided lines too.... 2nd time in the hills two nights ago, i consciously thought about not dragging the brakes, and being very quick with my braking. Wasnt getting very bad brake fade, not as bad as the first time. I think maybe i have the el cheapo of cheap pads on mine, crapper then stock im talking
  11. Silver set is sold, black set still for sale. Will take $150 for the black set. The guy that got the silver set is using them for track wheels... cmon guys they are perfect for track use.

  13. Id choose to replace a turbo gasket with new whenever i had the chance. They are not fun to need to replace. I also chose to use copper lock nuts when i attached the dump pipe, didnt want to have the thing rattle off. Better to be safe then sorry.
  14. Oh, the stagea brakes are fine for city driving, they stop quickly on a road in traffic etc, but for anything beyond daily driving, no no no
  15. Stagea brakes? This car has the most pathetic brakes i have ever used. Even my 2tonne celsior braked harder then my stagea. The stock pads overheat within 3-4 hard corners too (mountain stuff) which is also pathetic. DBA's etc should make them "good", AP make them "mention worthy" Each to their own though. For me, they overheat way too easy.
  16. Probably cant tell, but i lowered the front of the car 2 circlip grooves so 1.6cm. 3 days in, front are already dusty! argh
  17. Sun, Feb 5 Mostly sunny min: 16°C max: 27°C
  18. Take one off, try to find a brand or something written on a sticker somewhere maybe.
  19. Suddenly that I posted pictures no one is interested anymore? Its all there and in very good working condition.
  20. Im still new to drivelines... good to learn. Also, yes, make sense, more rpm at lower speed = faster acceleration.
  21. Well, Just got new tyres yesterday Tyres that came with the car Nankang EX505's 225/50 R16 Dry 5/10 Wet 2/10 Value ?? These were crap. They would understeer at around 2km/h round a bouts, getting the rear out was EASSY. Did a hill run though, they were OK for that. 60km/h at a 45 degree turn, i would start to understeer...and my cars pretty well balanced (ie doesnt tend to do either under or oversteer) New tyres Hankook K104's in 225/45/17 Ill keep everyone posted, so far they are much better.
  22. That is better then my attempt! My front end woulnt come together! Well done!
  23. R32 are 16's R33 are 17x9 +30 R34 are 18x9 +32 i think
