  1. Where do we meet? Just walk up to some guys and ask "where is the las vegas room" and go there? ...ive never been
  2. Congrats mate, Have to say but, seeing stageas like that is weird. However, conveniant of the roof racks to allow easy installation of the white ribbon. Again, best wishes.
  3. Oh, did i forget the rebuild?
  4. Yeh, as much i want the brembos, new pads, new discs, manual gearbox, clutch, new interior to suit, new wheels, new tyres, new LSD, new rear cross brace, new injectors, new turbo and uhh, other stuff. Ill probably have all that stuff done in about 6 months, so we shall talk then when funding is a little bit more abundant.
  5. The exhaust isnt THAT low But thats on std height. Dont worry, Sk's kits on the way. Next time it rains, ill try to get some action shots of my Stagea. I wish someone else could learn to slide my car, so I could see it from outside
  6. 2 piston floating calipers I wish 4 pot, would save me a lot of cash.
  7. I agree, the color is great and the wheels suit. looks 10x better then the photos from japan! Good luck....dont crash it....its too sexy.
  8. Look outside the square, could be something other then the steering? Not to say i know, but just suggesting
  9. Offset on the wheels Freight to Melbourne? Wouldnt know if they would fit a R33 GTR right off the bat?
  10. For those that dont know, here is a diagram. Id think something like this is only good for a) a huge laggy turbo where you want to remove pipe length, B) drift front bar damage I think it would fit. Ive always wanted to Vmount, pretty impractical for street though. Save your pennies
  11. Ditto with the door removal. Havnt done it myself yet, but going by how i did to my celsior, it will be exactly the same. Thanks for the comments, good to see this helps people out
  12. This is the bike i used to have, http://www.dcminimoto.com/910desmo42.htm I sure do know how to richen up a carb, spent ages tuning my s**t for changes in weather. I never said you cant turbo a carby car, i am talking about small capacity pocket bike engines. Tuning a carb is quite difficult on its own, without forced induction. The biggest issue i see with tuning a small capacity carby turbo engine is the turbo lag. The bitch just wouldnt spool up fast enough before the mega rich mixture at high rpms (adjusted for full boost) will cause it to bog down and underperform. This was discussed many times on the pocket bike forums (yes, laugh away) There are just much smarter ways to get power then turboing a pocket bike. What RC people did was s/c the engines. www.rbinnovations.com . Now thats a good idea because the car will be able to be tuned more consistantly. Also, as i said above, you can put some pressure back into the fuel tank to increase the fuel pressure. meh, i dont care, i have a stagea now
  13. Didnt get a PM either lol.. Me + 1 still up for it. Anyone cruising in from the around blackburn area and not drinking want to give me and a friend a lift (i want that beer and wine!)?
  14. I got prices on 4 piston AP racing brakes, inc 5000 series discs, brackets, ferrodo pads 3150 just for the fronts OR 2650 with 4000 series discs The prices for the brembos is $1000 for the full front/rear set including unknown brand pads that the owners says overheated...
  15. What is the life on calipers? I am, am i correct in doubting him so much or should i be more relaxed because calipers dont really need to be resealed? He said they overheated a few times (std pads) so should i presume melted seals etc?
  16. Is there a way that i can get them inspected by a shop? Can i get the seller to take them to a bakes place to inspect them? Estimated costs? I mean, the guy says they are in good working condition when he took them off, but i am not one to trust anyone selling 2nd hand parts really...
  17. I am about to buy a set of 4 GTR brembo calipers (front and rear) and i just wanted to know a few things. The guy says that they came off a car thats seen a couple of track days and they just overheated too much (probably crappy pads). Anyway he upgraded to something and is selling the lot. Supposed ~60,000km. - Now, how i check their condition not being on the car? - What does it cost to reseal them, or make them "new" again? - Whats the worst it could be? Thanks for the help
  18. Very "firm"......NO! Post up some pics junior
  19. DC2R's are over the power to weight
  20. Id guess 33 as the car is a r33 press from the b pillar forward. Try to compare to the above given photo.
  21. Well, yes, i will be just dealing with a choppy interior for a while. Ill cut the auto parts to suit as best i can, but id rather a manual then a complete interior Dont plan to sell the car any time soon either, so i wont be in any rush to make it all pretty
  22. I got no idea, but i will be replacing the whole lot. Unfortuntly, my manual conversion has taken a back seat for brakes and suspension work. BUT, all in good time, probably 3-5 months down the track, the car will be finished. Suspension, brakes, wheels, manual, power... me = BTW, ive decided to keep the car standard looks wise bar the wheels. I am also going to get a DAYZ front bar from JP, but apart from that and probably some DAYZ sideskirts, thats it
  23. Yeh, ive also had this game for years You can get seceret cars too, concept cars and stuff, BUT, still pissed there are no Stageas Then again, they are not really "performance" cars as such.
  24. Well R33 260RS id bet its std GTR turbos? Would make sense to me.
  25. Ive found fuel levels to go down when parking nose downhill and go up nose up hill Ive also found the fuel to go down when parking on a slight slant towards the passenger down hill and vice versa. This all make sense because the fuel pump/bobber is on the drivers side .. rear i think? Normally, when i am with the light on, i fill up about 53-55 litres So i assume the fuel tanks next DRY, but 4L over the area of a fuel tank is not much at all...
