  1. ok man, screw that paper model, the damn front end is CRAZY to get right...
  2. What the hell, where did it go? Is it in the intake or what? Its kinda lucky that there are intercoolers, at least your intercooler would have caught any loose nuts/washers etc instead of it going right into the engine (mega ouch) Can I have(willing to pay some $$ for it) your old turbo? Looking for a turbo to get rebuilt with steel wheels etc by GCG, so a compressor wheel is not really a must PM if you are interested in doing that for me.
  3. Chicken is for woman, honestly. Kebabs are LAMB, and only lamb. First time i had a chicken kebab was in london, because those Poms all eat chicken, not lamb...it sucked. Your not all POMS are ya's?...huh...huh huh
  4. "autech are bit more than intercooler fitters with angle grinders " HAHA, id have to agree Must get my hands on one of those then....
  5. Changing a turbo... well... for me to remove my dump/front pipe takes about... 1 hour. So on top of that add removing the turbo and fitting the other one, +1h and 1h to put everyhting back With breaks and stuff, i predicts ~4h work
  6. I took the return hose off the std BOV, sounded pretty damn funny. With the auto you get some bleeding off at half thottle. I got stalling issues though because i only stuff the return pipe with a cloth, so it was sucking some air in. Other then that, using rubber over that would work fine and perfect. Good luck
  7. So, out of curiosity, is your front bar support cut, or does it look as if both the top and bottom go the same distance. I may have to look into getting a 260rs front bar support, would love to have it 100% legal
  8. Im down for the RSfourV The matchbox sized cars you get on ebay for like, $10 delivered from thailand.. So yeh, im in for the plastic model.
  9. Do the electric seats have memories? Terminal - But when they fold down, the carpets rough. Dont forget to bring a blanket. Sleeping the back of the car isnt that bad actually. Only issue ive got with it is that it gets REALLLLLLLLLLY cold during the night. Need to wake up, turn the car on for 10 minutes, mega heat it up an repeat in 2 hours.
  10. On a more personal note i left out - walking - bike riding - not working (aka, heaps of free time) - parents bitching about homework - parent teacher interviews - dying hair (bleeching) - $20 being a lot of money
  11. I am probably of the younger segment of this forum, being 18 and all, but this is what i remember about being young. Tamagotchi Yo-yo's, specifcally "the brain" - Napster - Analogue mobile phones - Drinking EVERY weekend friday/saturday (though, some at this age still do) - Fads (the lollies...i was smoking!) - The macarena - Shoes with lights in them (later in chemistry i found out some had mercury in the switches....) Found this website, http://www.crazyfads.com/
  12. I get a woo woo woo noise too, but i think mine is the auto torque converter, is your car auto (i doubt it)
  13. Well, i have sat in the passenger seat of my car heaps with mates driving, but the other day i did a first, and sat in the back seats. Its is quite pimpalicious sitting in the back. I have to admit, i really love the lines of the rear door and the way you feel when in the rear seats. There is enough leg room and all, and the windows just make you feel so VIP being so dark, specially with the arm rest down. I know this car isnt anything in luxury compared to my old celsior (which i loved it backs seat too) but damn, it feels good. Anyone else sat in the back seats? PS. Must really compliment the engineers for the leaning rear seats and the roof arm holder things, they mesh really well together ;)
  14. The crew that does it is a member on these forums, username SydneyKid.... You just missed the bilstein/whiteline group buy
  15. What about a stagea 260RS specific intercooler, not a GTR cooler? Of coarse not a sidemount...
  16. I am just thinking of the front bar support. A legal way of going about getting a front mount intercooler, get a 260RS front bar support and bolt that on, with a GTR intercooler and then get the pipes made custom... HMMMM, i may myself look into getting the support bar, but, its a very $$ way to do it as i doubt there are many 260's being parted out, and the part from nissan would be expensive. Can anyone with a 260 confirm for me please?
  17. Hey, with that 260RS, does it have a GTR intercooler? ...thought only just struck me...
  18. Colour-Co panels in Mitcham does all my panel beating work
  19. I use www.revzone.com.au, they seem to do good work and are nice and close for me. Craig from Genesis works there now, he is a good powerFC tuner (useful for me +6 months). I am sure a PFC tuner can tune a SAFC. They have a dyno too. I think Nunawading is a little closer for you then Cheltenham no?
  20. Victoria Pde where? I am in the blackburn/nunawading area and frequent around there a lot. See me, give me a beep
  21. Looking good! Are your eye lids double-side taped on or do they have mounting points? Are they metal or made of fibreglass? Cheers, Alex
  22. 150 is pretty good. Do you have a full exhaust? The std dump/front/cat's are pretty restrictive i would say and you should see a nice power increase. I predict I am around 140awkw (or is that optimistic) with just full split/high flow cat/catback and fmic and 10psi?
  23. Re: Nismo I thought it was the factory option, which would be called the Nismo? I think of the S15 Sil with the similar kit. Regardless, its the one that i like most, nice and subtle.
  24. Next chassis bracing that ill get is the Do-Luck RXB (rear cross bar) Goes from the driver seatbelt bottom point, to the passenger. I have heard good things about them, and they, as much as possible helps. I dont really want a cage either, that would kinda ruin the car. Rear strut brace would be annoying for carrying stuff, so not sure about that either.
  25. Your car is a little more noticable then mine. I dont get too many thumbs up, infact, heaps of people even dont notice Told you to hold off putting the strut bar for a week, so you can actually feel the differce. Most people have them std and take it for granted
