  1. Well, as he said, it seems the R33 GTST one lines up all fine and stuff. So any hybrid/chinese style cooler pipes. So basically, any jap pipe kit would work, but the issues with those pipes kits is that you have cut a hole in the body under the battery tray, where here in tightass victoria, that could cause problems with the po-leece. Naturally, the water bottle needed to be moved, ive noticed that in the stagea they are extra extra large (i think i put 3L in mine last time i filled it up) Its good to know now that the R33 GTST pipes fit. Thanks mate.
  2. what hybrid cooler kit did you use? R33 GTST? Did you have to mod it? I think heaps of people here would want to know that information.
  3. Yeh, well, when we meet up or whatever, we can talk about doing it at the same time I guess
  4. There is a service station near my place that sells the stuff, ill put a 1/2 tank in next week and see how things go. Definatly this is for everyone to work out. My car has the standard computer with a std tune, so ill see what happends.
  5. Mine are in perfect shape, no cracks, not loose or anything. I may reseal them on with some sikaflex though just to be safe as you guys all seem to loose/nearly loose them on the freeway's
  6. These numbers are part codes, not part numbers. Ask nissan for part numbers. I am sure the park brake would be pretty generic to all nissans, would be stupid to make them all mega car specific.
  7. WEAK! WRX
  8. So are you guys all missing these, ie it didnt come with the car, or have they all broken. I would have thought something like this wouldnt have been an option, it would have been like, definatly included with car..
  9. Are you it says "worn" On my vic RWC its how much adjustment the handbrake needed, ie due to cable stretch etc. Handbrakes are just rear discs from what i knew.
  10. ColourCo panels in heatherdale did all the work on my VIP celsior after shipping smashed my front bar.
  11. Mines double the deepness but only opens from one side.
  12. From that picture above, i would say you want to move the wheel something like 20mm outwards... Stick in your current 9 inch +38 dimensions and you can manipulate to suit as it gives the difference below http://www.1010tires.com/WheelOffsetCalculator.asp I came up with 8 inchs wide with +32 will give 19mm more clearance for you Have a look in this thread http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/in...92233&hl=offset
  13. My Fuji was airmail from japan from www.revzone.com.au (also my tuning shop) Was $1100 with a short wait My cat was $440 (R33 GTST) on top of that and my single split front/dump was $395 (R33 GTST) and required a little bit of modification to fit ($50 worth, probably design issue being split) So my total exhaust spend was $1945 + the $240 I lost on my first custom catback. Good luck with it
  14. I will post in the suspension thread
  15. I agree, +38 offset is a pretty generic size for non dished rims. Its either stamped or a sticker, my rims have all had stickers but my mates RAYS have a stamp
  16. This is for an SR20DE but... Auxiliary Air Control (AAC) valve. This is the ECU's main idle control mechanism. It's a solenoid valve that opens or blocks airflow around the throttle plate. It's located on the Idle Air Adjusting (IAA) unit (along with the idle adjust screw and the FICD valve) on the passenger side of the engine block just behind the oil filter. The AAC valve points back toward the firewall and its wiring harness points toward the passenger-side wheelwell. The AAC valve operates a metal plunger on a metal valve seat, both of which could conceivably get dirty and fail to seal properly (or perhaps they need some sludge to seal at all. No data on this). The AAC valve itself seems robust, although it seems to get replaced quite often by dealers with undiagnosable idle/hesitation problems. I'd guess that replacing the valve is rarely necessary.
  17. Give them a call, its a front cut so they could possible help you out
  18. haha, is that the GTE he picked up for 100 yen?
  19. Infact, i just got a random message from someone on monday about my exhaust, he is sending me a money order in the post as we speak. Look in my thread about the fujitsubo exhaust, its really a damn nice exhaust. Four of us on this forum have that exhaust terminal, me, chris and muck...
  20. Damn! Someone took the front bar, BUT, the two front struts are $140 each... DAYMN!
  21. Has your car been resprayed? I ask because i see the grey strips down the side of the car are actually white. I only noticed because my friend told me the other day he reckons it would look really good like that..
  22. Me too, i wanted a green one. Infact, i was looking at that one but my parents were narky about me flying to sydney. Only found two here, one prety rough green one, or the one that i bought ....
  23. I agree, dont have that armrest thing either?
  24. Rim offsets are calculated like this Find the total rim width so lets say 8 inchs. 0 offset is at 4inchs from either direction, and this is measured at the point where the wheel touches the hub. Then, from this 4 inch middle location, measure the distance in mm to your wheel touch hub location. Positive offset is when a wheel has less dish (centre is pushed out of car), negative offset is large dish wheels (centre is pushed into car) I think the best way to choose wheels is to have an offset calculator. This one http://www.1010tires.com/WheelOffsetCalculator.asp seems to be fine. Put the stockers back on, or wheels that you know their dimensions, measure how much distance you have to play with you when car is on maximums (probably very hard) and use the calculator until you get a good wheel/offset combination.
  25. If you get stuck, i know TypeM in dandenong have a stagea front cut there. They normally have pretty expensive parts, but if you get desperate give them a call.... Type M Imports 14 Glomar Crt Dandenong South 3164 (03) 9793 0235 Mobile Service 0412 351 454 I asked 2-3 weeks ago if they had a stagea front bar there, they said they did but i am wondering now if its a DAYZ or a regular, because they wanted ~300 for it and if its a DAYZ, i think ill get it right away. So yeh, ill be calling tomorrow anyway, ill ask for you too.
