Stagea Group Buy Whiteline & Bilstein

Oh, nuts! Maybe ill leave getting new rims until i get my suspension sorted then... Good luck mate, dont worry, she'll have 600hp to compensate for the rims -
Wouldnt you just want to replace the stock fan size with an electric equivalent mounted over the standard shroud? Hence, find out std fan size, buy to match and work from there.

There is nothing like a good tune. There is not much difference between the fuels regarding power production when coupled with a good tune. To be honest, the main reason that I buy 98 isnt because I think its "better" but i definatly find that it gives better fuel economy (based on previous cars) and less emmisions.

By the way, this of this as an exemption from the laws. One of my best mates dads 550 Maranello doesnt have numberplates on the front of the car and this is because its a special situation, the same with stageas.

Ok, here is the deal about the tint. Tinting below a certain % is illegal because the cops cant shine a torch through the window the see who/what is inside. In Victoria, its 35% light trans as a maximum for tinting the passenger/driver/rear windscreen windows. You are not allowed to tint the windscreen below 75%, more so that you are allowed to put a film that blocks out UV/Glare then darkness. If anyone ever brings up the illegality of your window tint, our cars DONT have tinted glass. It is UV cut glass, meaning thats the glass that is like that, not any film. (kinda like stained glass) Because the Stageas were brought to ADR's with the windows the way they are now, that makes them legal to drive. I remember someone saying a cop pulled them over and said that its too dark, the guy said its the glass but the cop still gave a minor defect. The guy then got a letter from a tinting place saying that it isnt tint and that it cant be removed. Me, personally, i prefer the rear windows tinted and the fronts not done, its a very suggestive look i find. The rear windows are 25% light transmittance and you could just get the fronts done in 35% to semi match, but i like it the way it is. Regarding the antenna, there is no "pop-up" style antenna, it is built into the car. There has been talk that its in the rear quarter glass, but i think thats just the demister As you will soon discover, the 4WD is quite far off the GTR running gear. Its funny because heaps of people say that its "GTR running gear" where in reality its just ATESSA with smaller axles, no LSD (unless manual S2 S) and all other "scaled down" components.

Ignition Fuse Removal - Prevent Hotwiring
AlexCim replied to druzilla32's topic in R Series (R30, R31, R32, R33, R34)
Its called a kill switch Heaps of cheap bogans do it and you just hide the switch somewhere in the car, kinda like a fuse you can control. Yes, this prevents "hotwiring" -

Well, my stagea vent was 1.25mm and it worked well Then i got a 1.5mm vent and i couldnt boost below ~13psi Then i soldered up my vent and drilled it to 1mm and it boosts ~7psi I can get a perfectly stable boost curve, you just have to do heaps of fine tuning. Dont forget that you want to be in the same angle/location all the time because it could be different up hill compared to flat areas.

Stagea Group Buy Whiteline & Bilstein
AlexCim replied to Sydneykid's topic in Four Door Family & Wagoneers
You have a hoist in your garage? GROUP BUY for time at your place! Anyway, to me the way you have set up the struts looks ok. From other installs ive done i would guess that the big short springs sit in the front and the thinner taller ones in the rear. Do you mind if you get me some measurments from centre of wheel to gaurd rather then ground to gaurd? If you need a hand or anything in your garage give me a call or pm as ive started uni holidays now so I have heaps of free time. BTW, did you get the whole setup? Id love to see how the subframe bushes etc are installed and could help you out with the swaybars (already installed them) -
Just scored myself a set of those pliers from REPCO. They were $28 here, but whatever really, they will be very useful. Ill give the fuel filter another go monday.

Well, the way things are going at the moment, there are several investments i will be making and possibly putting a deposit down on a house. So that could limit me with money spending. The way i see things, enjoy everything while it lasts. Manualize the car now, will be more fun for the time being. Hey, i dont know what will happend, i may keep it for a long time or i could upgrade, but the plan at the moment is that within 2-3 years to be able to afford an M35

AMS, na better, i was exactly the same When i was looking around for a Stagea i was reading up heaps here and asking questions and stuff. But its funny, because i am saying that even with the amount of people on this stagea forum which isnt many, several still havnt received theirs yet, highlighting the uniqueness and rarity of a stagea in Australia. Mmm...cant wait to upgrade to a M35 in ~2 years when compliance and all that exists!

haha, 30% of the people that speak regularly on this forum are people that havnt even gotten their stageas yet darrinspicer AMS STAGEN (well, he does now) Infact, there are only like, 7-10 regulars here..

Well, Try and see. I am sure you could still control boost no issues, just a bigger minimum boost. With overboosting, the one issue i had was this. I had my map set up like, 0 0 0 0 0 0 50 80 80 etc. I found that like this, when it could hover between the two load points of 0 and 50, the boost could be very "jittery" and the car felt as if it was about to stall or had a flat tyres. To overcome this, i just leveled it out a lot more, so like 0 0 0 0 0 15 30 50 70 etc Now i dont get this issue any more. If your EBC does spike, i guess you could just shift the map down a few load points to catch the spike out before it happends.
