  1. Totally different cars really Questions to ask yourself Will you have issues with cops? -> No = Stagea Do you want a "sports" car? -> Yes = R34 GTT Can you be screwed with rare(ish) parts? -> No = R34 GTT Need space for stuff? -> Yes = Stagea Personally, id get the GTT, but i actually need my wagon for a wagon and a GTT would just be too impractical.
  2. Banjo bolts are also used in brakes I took my car to the place to get custom lines made, took ~3 hours
  3. schweet, give me a buzz when your car and stuff arrives and we can arrange something (im basically on holidays now anyway...woohoo)
  4. I have dibs on the gearbox. Questions - What year car was it out of? - Where in melbourne are you? - Transfer case and shifter? Need crossmember too...??
  5. Thought i may make this thread up for people Front bar indicators http://page10.auctions.yahoo.co.jp/jp/auction/m22921695 Side indicators: From my understanding the same as S15/R34 http://www.nissansilvia.com/forums/index.p...howtopic=113087 Rear lights: This seller seems to have several in stock http://page6.auctions.yahoo.co.jp/jp/auction/f37061000 Or, for the actual search page http://search1.auctions.yahoo.co.jp/search...cale=0jp&mode=2 To buy off yahoo www.slidewizeimports.com
  6. I am not sure if this is going to work, simply because everybody likes different things I like that front bar, but not those sideskirts. If they didnt have the vents that would be sweet [ STAGEN ], when your car arrives, can i please borrow your front bar so i can give it to freddy so he doesnt have to mould/use my car? We could get freddy to make up a couple of sketchs for us and we can get something totally new and unique? However, yes, thats a lot more work... but i dont think anyones going to invest the original ~1000 in the 260rs kit, otherwise, there would be no group buy style thing happening ey?
  7. Yes, i would love to lower the car, but it already sits at 12cm with the exhaust and i dont want to go much lower Ill fill the guards with the wheels and also a kit will lower the car nicely.. Regardless, i am gonna drop the car that 2cm to legal (10cm) when i am able to purchase some bilsteins or whatever happends
  8. Not my style either This is my style right here, this is what mine will end up looking like, though, maybe a differnt front bar I LOVE it, ill definatly get some R34 GTR wheels, or WORK CAI's
  9. So really, the best thing for any stagea owner to make it easy for us Upgrade the calipers to something a little more common Same applies for the discs...
  10. You will feel a big difference with the braided brake lines, when i go ahead and do my brake upgrade ill go get it all done at the guys who made the original lines for, then i guess ill have to sell my braided brake lines..
  11. Damn! I need to find a turbo place here in melbourne to do a turbo rebuild for me... or ill just send it to GCG
  12. These affect the amount of caster your car has Caster is the "feel" of the steering, meaning add these and your steering will be more sensitive and responsive as these is no flex. They will replace the radius rods and bushes that are used std, with solid ones.
  13. Can you get me just the LED globes to suit? Looking for 97 Stagea
  14. I was surprized when i went to my nissan spare parts and got genny filter for 6.20 each... I was impressed and bought 3.
  15. Cant press the button in on an S1.... Lucky I have an inside/outside thermometer anyway...
  16. SK said caster is really good, i havnt done it yet to compare but id say its pretty damn needed (steering is pretty "soft") i got the adjustables, bt i dont adjust them. But, i think they may be better because they have the more "extreme" settings re stiffness
  17. braided line kits for stags from www.maltech.com.au search in the threads, i made one about braided lines
  18. Considering you wont be needing your std turbine, want to give it to me at a bargain price so that i can get it rebuilt for my stagea? I know its probably in good condition anyway, but im looking for a an any condition one to rebuild
  19. Its a single O2 position, just moved furthur down the pipe to clear the manifold. Yes, i am waiting on it. When i get it, ill make a DIY dump/front pipe install... i hope its soon as i have exams coming up, but, pfft, first year uni!
  20. So, i guess... we need to get a 260rs kit first orr...iono?
  21. If you didnt want to do much, i would -swaybars (at least) -rear subframe -caster
  22. Upgrading calipers isnt really worth it that much... so i think You can just spend some money on -good pads -braided brake lines -good rotors that will be suitable enough for you, unless you want to start racing the stagea full time
  23. I was the original stagea trialer for the SS split dump/front pipe There was some problems with the angles of the pipe which are getting sorted now. Also, the o2 hit the exhaust manifold I am just waiting on my revised pipe to arrive and then ill give it a go installing it again (was a bitch of a job the first time around .. but now i know what to do/how)
  24. Yeh, i just set mine ti 32 degrees if i want it mega hot to warm me up, otherwise, once im warm, just put it back to whatver i want.. I bloody hope so, id love that feature!
  25. I can power oversteer quite easy in my car in the wet, not in the dry at all some more power will fix it. I find it really easy to control sideways, i can get some pretty big angles too... but, this does involve a lot of first gear and some rev limiter sometimes. I cant hold a slide longer then a few seconds, which is about all of first + some limiter.
