Whatever you budget for the car, budget at least 3-4g to make the car "fun" This will cover things like -boost controller+dfa of some kind -exhaust -swaybars -all bushes -shocks/springs(the $$ bit) I think when the car is that level, its very very bareable compared to the pissy std condition (no offence to anyone) From there, the fun stuff (and expensive stuff) -manual conversion -pfc -fmic -upgraded turbo -injectors -fuel pump/FPR -brakes inc rotors/pads/brake lines

Mine was 19,000 with ~8 months rego +stamp duty +insurance... sooo, yeh The manual conversion will cost me ~4500 inc the PFC, and i expect that to really help my car keep more value compared to the other stageas, given the manual will be in more demand Though, saying that, i dont plan to sell my stagea for a few years yet, at least not before i get off my P's, so 3 years to go.. (cops etc)

My fuse box, its tape on. Tape lets me pull it off later if need be, where glue could damage whats below.

You guys can print that off (its already the correct size) and stick it over your coin box The ones that are blank can be filled in later i guess....

How do the camber kits adjust the camber is they are only bushes? Ill probably get the castor and subframe kits in the new few days.

Its interesting that its WGC"c34" which C34 is a laurel. Looking on yahoo jp, lots of the interior parts on the laurel are VERY VERY similar to stagea, specially the centre console box/door trims

Whats the going rate for a R33 GTR slave at nissan? Lead time also? I mean, it would be very similar to what the GTST would be, so if someone gets a price, please share. Can i used a R33 GTST slave on a GTR box? I have the slave/master here (doing conversion) but waiting on the box and id rather get it all ready now... ill be getting custom lines so that aint an issue...

Interesting. The dash you have in there has the HICAS light where mine has the syncro light. If that is a 260 dash, then the 260 came with hicase instead of the centre sync This is based on the info above that the plug are the same but the lights are not, hence you are lighting up a hicas light when you dont really have hicas (or so i presume, give me and muck dont have it and ian is of yet to fine a s1 with hicas) I was going to buy a s2 dash for my s1, but it was gonna be around 400 landed, so screw that for now

I find my doors are piss weak when it comes to sound deadening. When i was listening to some techno quite loud and arrived at my mates place, he said it was really clear/loud outside the car when i rolled up

Ok, Im about to do a manual conversion on my stagea, and i am about to buy a powerfc for the conversion Now, i need to know if there are differences from abs and non abs cars. Clearly my car has abs, so i dont want to get a computer that doesnt support it or anything? I also want to buy a std s2 r33 ecu incase all goes to hell and i need it for EPA etc, so do i need to buy an ABS specific one or just any R33 manual s2 one? BTW, i will be converting my engine harness to a r33 gtst one so stagea ecu will be useless (different plug) Cheers all.. Alex
