Apparently the plug from a VL or R31 are the same for a S2 R33, probably pick one up from a wrecker.

Gee I don't know if I should be replying to this post! Like whales, a ride like this is rare to find! (and don't say anything about being almost extinct!) I get my servicing and tune done at Hyperdrive. But as Rev210 puts it, the dyno results aren't something you can go on. I spose I just want to better my time of 14.8, and the fact that I've got 3" turbo back etc like other R33s that pull in the high 13s etc makes me wonder what it is that's the prob. (besides the whale factor) I did have suspension and alignment problems (real bad apparently) and they have all been recently fixed, so I don't know if that would effect times??

True, but I would've thought bringing it to the same place, Hyperdrive, and being the same dyno as the other guys with higher figures, it would've been similar with the similar mods?

Yeah it's strange (to me) that most stocks with 3" exhausts & POD are getting round the 240-250rwhp! I only got 202rwhp with those mods! that was before I put a dump pipe in, haven't checked the power difference since. Wouldn't be that much higher would it??

Hey rev210, Having an auto R33 and not doing over the top mods, what sort of time should one get? and if you don't mind could you list some mods that would help or you recommend? I've seen that you said you had pineapples on, sorry I'm not familiar with what they are (I know it's for better traction) , is it anything major and would effect everyday driving etc? What I've don so far to it: 3" turbo back exhaust POD (making an enclosed shield for it) Stock intercooler Bigger turbo (not boosted yet) Cheers!

I drive a 4 door so there's extra room for when I pick up 2 door owners that are stranded on the side of the road crying in disbelief over loosing a drag against my 4 door family wagon! You know, take em to the nearest 4 door Skyline dealership!!

Yeah sounds good, always want to get the clear head lights on mine. Only trouble is I have the 4 door assembly and just bought a H4 HID kit, so it wont go in a clear light assembly!! DOOH!! Haven't put the kit in yet, anyone want to buy an unused H4 HID kit??
