EVERYTHING Nissan OEM costs. for example, R32GTR ABS pump. $3,500 plus GST. Stock Injector seals, $215

dunno about the 34's but i know the rb30 wouldnt fit in an R32. i wanted to stay with the same block. i wanted bottom end and torque over just power from turbos. i didnt wanna rely just on the turbos for power. i wanted to keep the driveability but also wanted a tonne of response and stuff all lag. i looked at the vcam but just didnt have the money for it. im giving mine a service on monday. gotta love RDO's. 2.8 feels so much different to the 2.6. you'll love it!
goes to show how long ive been off the forum. i only just found this! if i had the money this is exactly what i would have done but i just couldnt afford it. i still got the 2.8L but i had to keep the GT-SS's that i already had. they are too small for my liking. id really love to see the end result of this. actually, id love a ride in the end result! I may consider doing the vcam later on down the track...
Best of luck!
Ron
awesome car. great buy. id change the turbos pretty soon if they're still stock. GT-SS are awesome. i got mine when i was on my 1st rebuild. great responsiveness and power. a little too small for the 2.8 now though. i really need to look at selling them and getting some bigger 1s. Perfect turbos for the RB26
you dont. alls you can find out is what the person selling the car says. for example, IF i were to sell my car i could show you photos of the motor being built. i can show you the motor bolted in the car and i could show you invoices of the parts as i bought them, but how do you know that i havent sold the motor and replaced it with a stock motor with shiny painted covers?
you could make educated guesses from what the car and motor are like and from what info you are supplied but theres not way of being 100% without opening the motor up...
as far as i know all pod kits come with the required piping like the apexi 1 posted above. i had blitz pods a while ago and they came with the piping and brackets to mount them. piping bolts to pods and afms bolt to piping. if your unsure, buy them over the counter and ask to be shown the contents before paying.
ill stick with my std paper filter. $5. filters really good. maybe a little restrictive so sorry jonny, no chips are gettin past it mate! just change it every 5000km with my oil etc
