  1. the cheap as chips paper filters are fine imo. i use them in a 300awkw GTR.
  2. dry cell batteries can be mounted straight into the boot. standard batteries need to be vented to the outside.

    lucky u ferah!
  4. my battery is in the boot. this = more room in the engine bay. the above pic shows me a radiator overflow and catch can in 1 and a battery. the battery is what the kicker terminals are connected to. nicely made catch can/overflow bottle. putting the battery in the boot of a 32 moves some of the weight backward. some ppl say that this is a benefit.
  5. i reckon do whatever you like to your car. just make it look stock/original. spray the cooler and piping black if your worried. if your really that worried about being caught can i refer you to here?

    R33 Weight

take it to a public weight bridge when you pick it up?
  7. Im with these guys. Now i havent had my car resprayed yet. Though Mick did spray my motor. he did a way better job then i was expecting. anyone that has seen my motor can tell you its awesome. The quote i have from Mick for my car resprayed is: Any damage found including small to big dints. damage on front bar lip. damage to front and rear bars. all repaired full respray of car. so removal of windows to an extent. this covers respraying the black back onto my windscreen wipers and around the sides top and bottom of my headlights. Paint around the window edges on the rear side windows. respray the front bar lip etc etc. How many places offer that? He'd probably redo the red thats faded on my GTR badge! all panels gapped properly. basically everything in a nutshell, the car will look as good as, or better then it did when it rolled off the assembly line. NO orange peel affect. dead flat smooth paint. Theres a lot more detail in what we discussed. Same stock colour as it is now. gunmetal grey. i wont tell you what he quoted but ill say it was getting closer toward 8k. im willing to pay it. on saying that, everyones cars are different. may have more or less damage so he will quote accordingly.
  8. i believe that its an advertising campaign to sell the blender. he's blended all kinds of things from glow sticks to bic lighters to iphones and a tom tom gps. good watchin if your bored
  9. Ever wonder where Nissan got all the ideas for the R35GTR?
  10. yea petes right. very nice car. shame he's selling it.
  11. i didnt say anything about an RB26.
  12. cost vs gain with cams, i found it chesper to stick with the stock cams. Benno has looked at this as well with the stock cams having more power in places. a bit of food for thought...
  13. if you need anything looked up, go to the Fast thread. parts can be looked up on fast here Nissan genuine parts thread just remember to post your vin number! as for downloading it, yea its out there. you just gotta look in the right place. outside of forums.
  14. whats your vin number...
  15. bubbles came floating out of the gallery while in a pressure tank. it was too hard to repair. got a 2nd hand head for 1k. it had a snapped stud that had broke some alloy off which was rewelded back up and redrilled/tapped out. the sandwich plate was swapped over with the motor in. the plenum was off and it took over 3 days...
  16. it could be any dash pic. the dash in my car says 31000km. dont believe everything they tell you.

  18. same kit. different brackets. kit comes with brackets for the 32 and 33.
  19. you would need the numbers to confirm if its a nismo motor. normally there would be a nismo plate on the motor. plus the block should be a 024U00. if they cant provide the numbers then tell them they cant prove it and youll only pay for a normal RB26 instead of a nismo motor. that way if it actually is a nismo motor, bargain. if not well you didnt get ripped off.
  20. i had that exact same problem with my 1st motor. Oil was always clean but slowly being used up. coolant was always contaminated with oil no matter how many times it was flushed. turned out to be a stuffed oil cooler (the sandwich plate cooler between the block and the filter.) and a crack deep inside an oil gallery in the head. a new cooler and head and a small rebuild and i was good to go. your choices in the order id look at are: sandwich plate factory oil cooler. Head gasket Head Block. (but i doubt it.) good luck
  21. small hand held 5km radius radios work good. thats all ive ever seen on cruises. Being the communications officer at my local SES unit i can tell you thats all you'll need. no need for a mounted hard wired radio or an antenna fixed/mounted anywhere on your car.
  22. i give it to my brother so he can kill the neighbours grass that he is too lazy to mow.

    Back Pain

lol yea they're the kinda dreams i had. weird stuff. i woke up 1 night when i was in hospital pissing myself laughing at the top of my lungs. i woke everyone in the room up i was laughing so loud. i didnt have a clue what i was laughing at. i just stared at everyone then went back to sleep. even the nurses down the corridor heard me and came to check things out. i had knives chase me. my dog eating himself inside out. all kinds of weird stuff... i refuse to take them now. an osteopath is a bone specialist.
