damn good idea modding the garage. where i am the garage was made wider and deeper. theres just enough room for the GTR a Lexus and my work bench plus a few extras. no room to move in there when both cars are in there.

Pakky is not the sticks! ahh well on second thought yea.... i grew up here. i gotta drive to Springvale everyday for work. i bought a holden apollo for a daily for $1500. huge boot 4 door auto. great for getting around and carting stuff. from driving to and from work and running around it costs me around $60 to $70 a week on fuel. if you love driving then you may wanna keep the skyline. my gtr sits in the garage most of the time. good fun to dig it out once in a while. id love the cash but couldnt part with it. spent too much and would get stuff all if i sold it. id just weight up the options and look at what you want the most. pros and cons of each option etc...

do you have house insurance? a friend had some gear stolen out of his wifes car and the house insurance covered it due to the car being on the property when the stuff was stolen. excess may be cheaper then paying for it outta your own pocket.

lol yea i did that before i got FAST. Always good to shop around. you can get them from local Nissan dealerships if you dont wanna use the auctions. Good if you get the wrong part as you just take it back. Sometimes more expensive though. 2 dealerships down here in my area have massive price differences also so it pays to ring around. i needed to replace my mode door actuator (motor that controls the vent positions for the climate control.) it was cheaper to buy it from my local dealership then it was to get from the auctions. yet my N1 bumper pods were cheaper from the auctions and are already colour coded.

ok the N1 bumper vents all have the same part number and the 1 u have is correct. The door seals. the upper seals are fixed to the body and the lower seals are fixed to the doors. now i can tell you the lower door seals as i still have mine in the bags they came in. I have 80831-04U10 RH and 80830-04U10 LH but i think the seal you are after is different. you want the hard outer seal correct? apart from that I cant help with any others. i should pull my finger out and reinstall FAST...

ahh the trusty ol oil pressure gauge. oil pressure test at any garage and then dont look at it. my 32 is a weekender and does what it feels like on the day. depending on how warm the day is and how long its been sitting around. aftermarket gauge ftw.

best ever wannabe drag story was a commodore. bloke wanted to drag off at the lights. i smiled at him. lights went green, he planted it and took off while i just drove normally. then the copper that was sitting behind him threw on the red and blues and pulled him over. never laughed so hard!

Like BeerBaron said, afm's take stuff all to change. I had map sensors fitted to my intake while the motor was being rebuilt, just in case i decide to use them in the future. they are simply blocked up for now. the highest ive seen on my afms is around 4.500v. if they ever show that they are maxed out, then i would look at replacing them or maybe looking at the map sensors.

ive been pulled over by Graeme and would be happy to say that he is 1 of the best cops ive spoken with. Considering that im also a member of the State Emergency Service with a RCR (Road Crash Rescue) accredited unit and attend car crashes on a regular basis, I have to deal with the Police on a regular basis. Graeme has done his job. its as simple as that. at least the bloke in the Corolla didn't wrap himself around a pole / tree/ car or pedestrian.
