The same thing hapened to me when i did the same mods to my 33 what it turned out to be was the ignition timing needed to be turned up... Just a thought. Scott

my bet is that you need to raise your base timing to 20 degrees before top dead centre, either that or check your sparkies to make sure they're gapped correctly.
