  1. ...I'll see you on the track one day...
  2. ..hey crabstick correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't this site 'skylinesaustralia', not 'gayelectricbluesoarersaustralia'? ..lol just jokes dude, your car's cool.
  3. ..me in definately. Don't want to get too carried away, but Anthony the idea of getting the media involved is awesome and shouldn't be too hard. A bit of positive publicity won't do any harm at the moment!
  4. The shanty is just north of Wagga - about 10km or so on the highway. If anyone likes their bikes half as much as skylines they'll be in for a treat. Awesome little pub.
  5. ...hehe, have parked there for the last 3 years so already have enough of Epic here thanks!! ... very kind for the offer though!
  6. -Thanks very much to those who offered parking - much appreciated, unfortunately work shite came up and I had to stay in ol' Wagga for the weekend, hope you all had a ball. ...Next Year
  7. Hello all, looking to get buy a kart and get into racing, any tips on what to look for - brands, age etc??
  8. Yes, duty will be no more but we will still obviously pay goods & services tax.
  9. The blue or purple, I have a V-Spec R33 in that colour. Looks awesome, although is very hard to keep clean and the colour looks quite dull if not kept sparkling. Why would you want to paint a skyline in a commodore colour, in my opinion it looks very common - especially with every second SS and commodore station wagon etc in that colour. I reckon it will be a very dated colour in a few years time. I remember when the SS commodores starting coming out in the tiger (gold) colour everyone reckonded it looked shit hot, now just looks shit. (In my opinion!)
  10. Stock R33 GT-R Springs and shocks for sale, also centre gauge cluster - oil temp, front torque and boost, also std exhaust (front). Sorry no price posted, as I don't know what these are worth, if they are any good to anyone they will go for the best offer. Thankyou
  11. -What's up with the fuel gauge? does it work? - I thought GT-R dashes and GTS-T were different?
  12. -Awesome, cheers Andrew, is there any public transport from there to the nats? or how much in a cab? Thanks again.
  13. Hello all ACT sau'ers, thinking of going over to the nats for a look just for a day but aren't to keen on parking the skyline there - anyone want to offer me a secure parking spot for the day!!?????
  14. -Congratulations Cr Roland Abraham, well done, it seems like you have a good deal of common sense and wish to be proactive, rather than burying your head in the sand, banning everything and trying to win the mainstream vote.
  15. - Thanks for the backup Kel, I really believe the ban on P-Platers is a deadset kneejerk reaction by Carl Scully in the hope that the public will buy that the Government is trying to do something - All these meetings/discussions/enquires into road safety etc etc that they have been having recently and that is the best they can come up with? And these 'intelligent' people are running the country! Although they are going to have that trial on driver education etc - at least one small step in the right direction.
  16. -Can't say I agree with the P - Plate ban, I believe all it will do is prolong the agony for 12 months, - they'll putt around in something slow for on their red's and then as soon as the year is up what do they do - go and buy a high performance car. The result will still be the same, Yes they may have a bit more driving experience but still haven't had the experience of driving a high performance car, and we all know the type of speeds a GTR is capable in a short distance. I believe the answer is in education and TRAINING, maybe some sort of a law whereby you have to complete advanced training/driving courses to drive a high powered car. - ie. maybe a stage one course lets you drive up to 180kw, stage two 200kw etc etc. I know this will vary with different cars, or it could be a power/weight ratio. (hope that all made sense!) Reading about this accident made me feel crook, poor bike dude and poor car driver - even though he was apparantely being a ****head, he's pretty much f%%ed a fair bit of his life while out on a Saturday arvo, drive. God knows I'm sure this could habe happened to a fair % of us over the years. -Save it for the track!
  17. ..Corowa's not a bad little town, I'm sure there would have been heaps of skylines there!! Have a good time tomorrow on the cruise, sounds like a good group, I would have liked to have gone over for a run but have two Xmas parties that can't get out of, anyway - next time
  18. stolly - i used to live in deniliquin, i think ive met over half the population of aerials on this planet -Deni, you lucky bustard!!! - so that's where I've seen you, down on the plains at the deni ute muster!!
  19. - Yeah you can get BP Ultimate here, God damn boy we've even got running water and toilets that flush now. Got a shit load of room, big secure yard
  20. ..did I mention aerials?, seriously, you'd think these fu%*$rs are trying to tune into 2IK Iraq.
  21. - Yeah, I agree with arm85, come to Wagga for a cruise and show the local aggies that there is more to life than a WB ute with: 253 V8 /M21/Bullbar/Rollbar/Towbar/Spotlights/Aerials/2-way/CB/UHF/14" Steel Wheels/Stickers/Lee Kernaghan and the country boys (not sure if that is right or not) Mudflaps - did I mention aerials???? If anyones worried about accomodation - come and stay at my place!
  22. -A mountain cruise would be good, maybe tumba, tumut, talbingo etc - even up to Jindabyne would be good. arm85 said he was trying to organise to meet up at some stage, I said we should before christmas, let me know if anyones interested
  23. --Old thread again, I'm in Wagga, purple R33 GT-R let me know if anyone organises a cruise. Cheers
  24. Hey narlzz, I can get you these, check your pm
  25. Howdy all, I just need some advice on using spacers for rims. I am looking for a new set of rims for my R33 gtr, I have narrowed it down to a few sets but some aren't the right offset and need spacers. What's the deal with these? Some tyre shops have told me that they are fine, are legal and don't change anything at all, others have told me they are dodgy and illegal. Do they change the wheel track, or have any adverse effect on handling etc. Any help will be greatly appreciated. Thankyou
