  1. Currently im using a Turbotech valve and im finding its dropping boost up high badly and i cant get my PFC boost controller to work so im thinking of the Jaycar IEBC How do they go with boost around 20psi, is it holding it steadily?
  2. Read my signature done with 231rwkw with Toyo R compound Ra1 tyres
  3. Yep Sure does bolt up
  4. Hmm i might change mine soon, im still running the stock gtst BOV. At low 22psi its dropping to 19psi up high, this could be the cause?
  5. I have one of these and run it all the time checking AF ratios. Its handy if you want to do some home tuning.
  6. Could be a big job if its broken inside the head then you will have to take everything off including exhaust manifold and use a eazy out.
  7. Buy some Tomei cams from Nengun for $800 delivered, sell your GTR cams and forgot all the troubles in fitting them.
  8. 60' 2.02 mph 107mph et 12.98
  9. Should be up changing much earlier than 7200rpm, try 6500-6800rpm.
  10. 12.98 was with street tyres with the normal bolt on stuff with a SAFC. 12.18 as per signature with semi road slicks. Takes plenty of practise, as i said its all in the launch, from there on, its just slam those gears home.
  11. And for the sakes of it, i reckon 250 rwkw should see you with a 11 with a good launch. I ran 12.18 with only 231rwkw.
  12. Ran a 12.98 with approx 190rwkw, its all in the launch buddy!!
  13. How big should the hole be??? I ran 24psi in the middle and its dropping to about 19psi at the top end. I dont know whether its the boost controller, stock BOV or what??? Going to try the actuator arm at that boost level but it did drop a little when i set it at 21psi. Maybe i should try the BOV. I dont mind really as my tune is nice and safe with the reducing boost top end
  14. Drilled mine in last night (Easy, dont know why he doesnt do it), hope i didnt go to big, 1.5mm, i dont think it matters as you can adjust it anyway.
  15. This isnt the standard track is it?
  16. Take it back to the tuner regarding the holes, you paid good money for it.
  17. Yep no worries , hope you can coz i've given up
  18. Altona in the West
  19. Saliya Exactly, previously i was able to set my boost aruond the wrong reading and didnt particularly worry me. Well ive given up, the solenoid has power there, i cant hear it move, so i am thinking it maybe my PFC which cannot adjust anything to it. Going to get rid of it and try a cheap boost valve.
  20. I have just ordered one, i hope it takes 20psi plus ok
  21. Thats what i am thinking , the controller isnt telling the solenoid to open, coz the solenoid is opening. Also, something i noticed on my controller, Settings, Boost, no.2 the last digits are 201 instead of 255, all the rest are 255. Is this normal?? Cheers
  22. Tried reversing the NO line, wastegate didnt even open so plumbed it back. I guess its the solenoid
  23. It does come with the kit, i got my kit 2nd hand with my PFC and it didnt come with it
  24. Paul I will look tonight, but if i remember i couldnt locate the part number. I'll check. When i initially hooked it up, i had no problems, at least i could control boost so that part doesnt particularly worry me.
  25. Thanks guys!! Saliya Ive put it on the lowest setting, 0.50 and 20 and it doesnt make any difference, just boosts up high under throttle. Funny thing is, i put an air compressor up it and the internal wastegate opened. I still think its a solenoid problem. I cannot hear any rattling noises with it turned on. Paul My boost on the PFC has always displayed wrong values. Like .67 equals to around 20psi. When i got the kit, i had to buy the AVCR boost sensor, and this is how it read from day one. If i put it on 1.0, it would go through the roof. So i've always played with the settings using .50, .60 and .70 and 44,50,60, cant quite remember all of them but something like that. .70 was my high boost, i was seeing around 21psi on my boost guage and on the dyno. I will try swapping the boost lines tonight
