  1. Thanks Saliya i'll give it a try. Only problem is , i worked properly with my old turbo just not with the new one and i havent changed the lines, but anything is worth a try. Cheers
  2. Damn, still no luck
  3. You do realise you can't get less boost than the wastegate actuator spring pressure don't you? Yes, im getting boost with no controller using just the actuator. But with the PFC im getting way too much, like 25psi and rising, sounds like the wastegate is not opening at all. I have to back the throttle off.
  4. Took the Sensor valve apart and all looks good, nothing sticking , for some reason there is no control on boost. Nothing is opening the valve once the soleniod is shut. I wonder if its a sticky actuator arm, but then why does it open with the controller turned off. Got 20psi into it last night and its a rocket!!!
  5. Sensor check reads 0.9 V sometimes upto 1.0v when your driving. Channel 1 boost hasnt changed, all looks good, reads boost etc.
  6. Reversed the lines around and still got troubles. PFC is set on the lowest and im getting way too much boost, obviously the valve is not opening. Must getting power there as i can turn the boost off and on and its working, but soon as i turn the PFC on, it boosts too high. Maybe the signal is wrong from the boost sensor but i am getting readings from it Any ideas?
  7. hahah, saw 28psi and it was still rising so i thought i'd back off. So disconnected it and was running the adjustable actuator arm and ended up getting a steady 18psi. Didnt have anymore rod left so couldnt raise it more. Fixing it tonight and back for a bit more testing tonight. I have a AFR monitor in the cabin, so my mate is doing runs whilst i adjust the mixtures with the PFC, so far i've got everything in the 11's under full throttle. Hopefully get boost into the low 20's tonight and see how she really goes. The 2535 definately had more bottom end but this makes more top end, spins to 7000 easily. Still making a good 18psi in the low 3000rpm mark which is great.
  8. Thanks mate, you are totally right!!
  9. Reset my PFC and switched the boost controller on to a low setting and put the foot down and bang, well over 20psi heading towards 30psi. Turned the controller off and i have a steady 16psi. Switch it on again, and up it goes again, WTF, my setting is on 0.5 with 44, the lowest i have ever had it. I have checked the wires and seems to be ok, the intercooler piping is going into the COM line and NO goes to the actuator. Any ideas?
  10. Bump
  11. Got a stock GTR BOV?
  12. After a good condition Stock GTR BOV
  13. How do you know if your stock BOV is leaking?
  14. BigCarl Picked up a GT3071R for a decent price so i thought i would try it. Finally its all on now but having some lack of boost problems so im trying to iron it out. If you run a decent 60', you should have a 11 in the bag. Just dont get carried away on the take off as thats where it all counts for a good 1/4.
  15. You need to balance the clutch and throttle. Use at least 4000-5000rpm and lift the clutch and as you do, use more throttle. Dont dump the clutch at high revs as this causes wheelspin. Do it progessively and you feel the tyres bight and then your away. If you are finding that you are getting alot of grip, try it quicker and use more revs until you find out your traction limits. Best i got was 1.88 60', anymore revs and it would break into wheelspin. Good luck, 125mph should be possible, but will require a perfect run
  16. Im still running stock injectors with a FPR, making low 230rwkw
  17. On high boost, i was seeing knock constantly upwards of 90. Did i hear it ping? NO. therefore i never worried about it. Tuning in the old days. was listen to hear it ping, then retard it a little.
  18. If timing isnt doing it, you probably find it is running lean at a particular point. Add a little fuel and try it
  19. Previously i ran a HKS2535 with the stock BOV venting to the standard to intake pipe, everything ran fine. Now with a GT3071R i had to use a different intake pipe to the turbo so i couldnt connect the standard BOV return pipe to the intake pipe. So i haven't connected the return pipe for the BOV. Does this cause any problems?
  20. Getting kids in and out of the car will become easier once you throw those cradles out. Ive got 2 boys, aged 10 & 8 and they love coming for a ride in the 33
  21. I found the base ignition maps to be excelent and i hardly have changed them. Fuel maps where a little rich. Went heaps better though so its a worthwhile upgrade
  22. No one wants to go fast?
