  1. I think your tuner is having you on
  2. Im using one on mt R33 gtst. It was a simple pull out and plug in. But you will require a re-tune as you will be pumping in more fuel and will have to lean out the injectors
  3. Get some street R series tyres and then you wont have to worry about hi boost in lower gears.
  4. Great unit, its the same unit really, i was missing the PFC sensor kit so i bought the AVCR one as its the same. Basically its the same without the rice blue screen. And mine keeps boost very well.
  5. I must admit, Heathcote is much better for the spectator and racer, you can nearly touch the cars. But its been proven, Calder is a faster track by at least 0.2 of a second. Must be something to do with the air altitutude at Heathcote
  6. On Gas, WTF!! I thought it was an impressive turbo combination!! 1.4's is pushing it, 1.6 should be a pretty good effort
  7. Nice times for a bolt on
  8. If you want to go for a nice run by yourself, try the Tan track around in the city gardens. Heaps of people jog there and its very good for eye candy, makes jogging much more fun.
  9. Get some good rubber!!
  10. You could pick up about 20rwkw in the middle as your AFR's are low 10's. At Full throttle they look good but midrange is suffering. Lean it off a little and you will bag a hole lot of midrange.
  11. What kind of tyres are we running?
  12. Nismo for me
  13. Im still getting problems with "View New Posts"
  14. Paul How did you come up with 8.5/100ks?
  15. They are R compounded so the grip is quite outstanding. I don't do track work besides 1/4 stuff. So the difference between these and a good road tyre is quite dramatic
  16. Your wrong , the 2.03 was done on Sumituno's street tyres not the RA-1. I haven't been to the track yet with the RA-1's but judging by road traction, they are 100% better than the Sumo's. They are very similiar to the Re55, some guys who have had both reckon they are better, but anyway im not complaining at all, traction is simply brilliant. Guns running big horsepower should certainly look at their tyres to get some rubber down on the street.
  17. Thanks mate, i thought i was going mad
  18. I must have done something to my settings but everytime i log on, i cant "view new posts". Its so thrustrating as i like to see all new posts. Anyone know how to fix it??
  19. Check your barrometer, i dont think it would ever go to 930. Currently in Canberra its 1023, With cyclone Tracey coming it might get down to 980 at its worst.
  20. With a lower BP reading is shows a higher RWKW figure as its in shootout mode. My friend has a dyno shop and his dyno read around 98BP when it was 101BP. I kept on getting high figures approx 10% higher. Went back to the shop when it was fixed and he showed me how it all works ala, now true RWKW not inflated. I'd hate to think of the true lower RWKW of a 93BP reading.
  21. You better tell Jake's Performance he needs his dyno re-calibrated. The BP is 93.6, this would indicate a much higher figure than the true BP reading of say 100.0 unless you live in the Antartic
  22. 225RWKW, 12.5@113mph
  23. Check the Barrometric Pressure figure of 105.0, i doubt whether it would be 1050mp where ever you live. This would give you a lower figure than normal as shootout mode looks at this and calculated a lower reading. If the BP was correct say 102.0, then you dyno would read higher
  24. No, the $10k is fine is for the owner driving a catless car. If you can get the workshop to foot the bill , then your doing well
  25. I can get you a dyno read out with 300rwkw if you want one
