Will check TPS, ignitor and reset ecu to read codes tonight. AFM is clean, might pull the plug to see whether it makes a difference.

I have just re-assembled my gtst to standard, put everything standard back in, turbo, ecu, afm, fuel reg, fuel pump, and coils. Fired it up and it started first pop like a baby, never idled so good in years. I was wrapped. I let it idle for 20 minutes as i checked for leaks, presto, all fixed. Took it to the car wash to clean things up so i thought i might do the engine bay as well. I was pretty careful with everything around the pod filter etc. Took it home and it now runs like a absolute cop, car wont idle without giving some sort of throttle and falls in a hole as you put the foot down, even a slight bit. Back into the garage to check for air leaks, maybe water down the valley. Took all the spark plugs out, all good. Took the afm off last night together with all the piping to the turbo etc, nothing, bolted it all back, and still wont idle without stalling. I am thinking ECU or AFM are faulty?? Should i reset the ECU and check for fault codes??? Maybe it was just a concidence that when i cleaned the engine bay now it runs like a cop.

Mate i had 275rwkw R33 for years and believe me in gear roll-ons is sensational, but burning away from traffic lights wasnt fun as it would just tear up the rubber. Tein suspension and stiff rear end isnt ideal for traction, semi comp rubber would be your only answer. Thats why drag cars have soft suspension, hence why a F6 would have a lot better traction.

Mate, have you ever tried to get the power down in a 300rwkw rear wheel drive skyline? Basically they are useless so i sold up and bought a BF F6. Mind you its stock, but traction is so much better and a smoother car to drive. The skyline is a handful in rear wheel drive. Great for roll on but for squirts off the lights, most cars will beat you.
