  1. What kind of ECU are you using? What are your Air/Fuel ratios like?
  2. As i said there are 3 cars running in the 11's with just bolt ons. Mind you, these are well tuned shop/owner cars so full enthuasis has gone on the 1/4 times. 60' footers are 1.6, so not your normal everyday set up. Probably also been to Jenny Craigs weight loss program too.
  3. Actually i believe a manual just went 11.7 as well, previously was 11.9 on full slick tyres. Autos have 3200 stall and 3.7's or 3.9's gears(not sure).
  4. Ones running Slicks, the other Toyo Proxies RA1
  5. There is a group buy on the Power FC for $975, may as well get that and then get a tune for $300. The standard maps in the Power Fc are quite good and safe so you should be able to run them for a while
  6. Before you go bagging the Gen 3's LS1's or the Ls2 for that matter, the 1/4 mile record in Australia for a bolt on Gen 3, is 11.7. These cars are pushing 260rwkw (tune, exhaust, cold air only mods) Try that with the standard turbo!!
  7. I have the solenoid that goes to the actuator, im missing the part that reads boost pressure from the manifold.
  8. Sorry guys just an interuption, ive got the Power FC Boost Control kit but i seem to missing one bit. I think its the Manifold Pressure Sensor. They are expensive from APEXI, about $200, can i buy a bosch one or something? Cheers
  9. Get a Power Fc and gone are your dips
  10. I can get them $16 each, great plug, better than platinums. The iridium metal is supposed to take over double the resistant as platinums and copper.
  11. Ohh, i thought they'd be the same
  12. try Brambl in the For Sale section, i just bought one of him for $400
  13. The smallest are 2 1/16 and the 1/16 is just a smidgeon over 2 inches. Sorry but the Autometer seem to be more expensive than the others if you can get them. Cheers
  14. I have a brand new chrome autometer cup 2 1/16, $50
  15. Robo's

    dyno day

Organise one, i will be in
  16. http://search.ebay.com.au/autometer-boost_...QfkrZ1QQfromZR8 Couple of new ones on here cheaper than the shops
  17. 19psi is fine but i have my rev limiter set at 7000. Max power is at 5,700rpm, so going much past 6200rpm is a waste of time as i feel the power dropping off. Even if i took the rev limiter off, i doubt whether it would go to 9,000rpm.,
  18. You can gap them but be careful with the feeler guage, dont force it but it can be done.
  19. Who raved on about them when yours didnt respond to the Pons?
  20. Iridiums i can get for $16, normally about $20, so for $100 thats not too bad.
  21. Coppers cant last 25-30k's, they wear away!!! Iridiums are a better conductor of spark than platnums
  22. Ive studied plugs a bit, and copper ones wear a little as when copper sparks it burns part of the metal on the plug. Its ok if you want to change them regularly. Iridiums are great but you generally find you have to gap them down, ive gapped mine at 0.8mm.
  23. I think i might buy one and try it
  24. They are the same plug so it will fit in. 5 and 6 represent the heat range, 6 is colder than 5.
