  1. It spoils up quickly, im getting 16psi by 3000rpm
  2. Depends what you want, Better performance than standard turbo = yes. Or something thats going to give you 250-300rwkw = No Check out my mods, ive got a 2530. If you can get one for $1200, id go for it.
  3. I can get the Iridiums for about $16, email me if you want some
  4. Ive got a 3 inch dump from the turbo to a 3 inch cat. Im looking at the split dumps where the wastegate is seperated from the turbine and reconnects about 40cm later. Im trying to understand it, but if im running 19psi, the wastegate is closed so how do i get more performance? Or does the wastegate slightly open over 19psi therefore the gases dont mix with the turbine gases straight away but being 40cm further would create less turbelance. Any thoughts?
  5. 94.8mph at 660' certainly doesnt represent 111mph, more like 120mph. I'd say something is wrong. Did you have more than one run? You sure you didnt back off?
  6. There is nothing wrong with the time, brilliant if you ask me, but the track speed doesnt represent 300rwkw. Terminal speed is a good indication of how much power you really have in the real world.
  7. There is something wrong with that 660' time, your at least 1.0 off the pace and 8mph. Check it with your other runs at the 660' mark.
  8. At Heathcote i was running 12.7@111 and i have around the 235rwkw mark. What was your half track speed? Should be around 87mph. Something sounds a miss even with a 1.9 60'. Are you sure you werent shutting down just before the line, Ive done that before.
  9. A good hour
  10. Yes running a stock turbo, expect at least 15rwkw minimum gain with decent boost. Obviously you will gain less with less boost you run.
  11. Im getting 19psi in the middle, by 6000rpm its down to 16psi and then its down to around 13.5psi at about 6500rpm. Probably showing why my max power is at 5,700rpm as the boost drops off. My power graph is very funny, from 5000rpm onwards you draw a straight line accross and it moves up and down 5rwkw if that. Ive learnt that you dont rev this bugger, im upchanging just over 6000rpm which maybe a good thing. Wouldnt mind trying a bigger turbo to see if i get much more top end. I have a copy of my boost curve on a spreadsheet, i'll post it up.
  12. Running Sumituno's HRZ'11, Nothing special really, wouldnt ming trying the new Toyo Proxies RAI's
  13. I picked up around 20rwkw at 13psi between the stock cooler and a FMIC, so yeah its a worthwhile gain.
  14. Even with the stock maps on the Power FC, you will find it will drive nicer than with the stock ECU.
  15. Saw your run, was moving along quite nicely Next time, don't smash your diff, i hate waiting for them to clean the track, happened about 4 times that night
  16. Thanks guys, 60' footers where between 2.03 and 2.19
  17. Exhaust, boost, power fc, = Stock, mine must be a stock GTST then :Bang:
  18. Funny you said that as there was a nice blue R34 GTR running 13.1 and 13.2 @106mph. Must have been stock as these are stock times for a GTR
  19. Well Melbourne turned it on with another perfect night for dragging, cold and no wind. 1st, 12.56@112.93, 2nd 12.68@111.01 3rd 12.78@113.73 4th 12.55@113.52 The 2nd and 3rd run where struggling for a bit of traction but overall im very impressed with the results. MPH is looking quite strong. Not bad for a small baby 2530 turbo and street tyres.
  20. If anyone is going down, give me your name and i can get you cheaper entry, $45 race and $15 spectating
  21. I knew i was right
  22. Sorry, in the wrong spot
  23. Anyone going down? Im racing trying to beat the 12.75!!
