Maybe try a rare earth magnet to coax to the drain hole. They aren’t expensive and damn powerful. Sorry if this has already been covered

Exhaust silencers/varex exhausts
Watermouse replied to PotatoCake's topic in Engines & Forced Induction
Has anyone used or considered Hi-tech mufflers, Bourke St Darlinghurst? They were the cream of the crop in quality and workmanship when I had my turbo Forester They specialized in custom stainless exhaust systems, especially for Euro supercars -
Exhaust silencers/varex exhausts

Don’t know if any one has noticed but there’s a few US spare parts companies that have purchased what seems like all the new old stock NISMO/Skyline parts and charging rich US dollars -
Shockabsorber 101
Watermouse replied to Sydneykid's topic in Suspension, braking, tyres and drivetrain
Last year I got a set of MCA street coilovers for my turbo Forester after my son hitting a concrete gutter/wall on a small bridge causing the whole drivers side suspension to get bent because the rain just made the car slide out I love them, I think they were $2400. even had a hiccup of have the wrong hub configuration (my fault) so got onto MCA and they sent the correct shock ends overnight parts from QLD, for free! I was very impressed with their customer service and quality of the product -
Who are you to deny yourself? I’ve said this many times to myself and apart from getting what I really want, I go quiet for a while whilst working out what I just did to my savings and how will I afford what it cost, then, next payday…

Drive By Wire Conversion options
Watermouse replied to outsidergarage's topic in R Series (R30, R31, R32, R33, R34)
I recently got their dbw 74mm throttle body and pedal kit. It is sensational quality especially the wiring harnesses. Unfortunately I can’t answer u about the fitment to stock inlet manifold as I’m going Rahjab Racing forward plenum. Only one thing to be careful of is understand u have to pay gst and import fees if your purchase is over $1,000 in one shipment. -

I don’t mean this in any negative way. But, if u are after this type of data why don’t u have a flex fuel sensor? -

Changing to titanium muffler tips
Watermouse replied to Sleepergm's topic in R Series (R30, R31, R32, R33, R34)
Hey Sleepergm, I love your inlet piping, do u mind sharing who did the work, please? cheers, Ian -
Another question sorry, what stainless do u use in the turbo external WG plumb back piping? Is it 321, 316 or 304?
-
That’s a beautiful setup Tao, Have u done any development with the new Turbosmart 40mm electronic straight gate, especially in this G30 configuration?

I’ll go last point, For me it’s, can I do better relying on the expertise of u experts in the field but my point was, is there a way and a will to sticky important tried/true/tested facts that come out of a question relating to each area of improvement. I mean like not losing valuable info when u end up relying on google without success. Some times. I just see so much knowledge being passed but unless u are a guru or lucky, the diamonds end up hidden in our forum sorry guys I’ll leave it at that respect
-
I mean this in no disrespect to u mate; Are there clear tagged examples/explanations in our SAU forum for example, in my interest, this is how to do R34 Gtt suspension the right way? U guys did so much taking risks with experimentation that deserves recognition and those results helps us morons take the RIGHT path to buy quality / buy once. 🍻

GTSBoy on your suggestion on another thread I had a look at those injectors and ended up getting them because of the quality. Got the expensive ones.

Hey guys, Just thought it might be of interest to owners of the RB25 det NEO motor, that awesomeness Nitto are in the late process to produce an engine gasket kit by end of Jan 25. I think obviously there will be an 25det kit too. cheers, Ian

R34 GTT Battery Relocation To Trunk
Watermouse replied to Beanie's topic in Members Cars, Project Overhauls & Restorations
I just got this system but haven’t installed yet I got a Moroso sealed box (defect reasons) which will be set up same as their pic The quality is high grade, the correspondence I had with the owner (former head designer for Rockford Fosgate) was unbelievable, guiding me with what I needed. Even told me not to buy some things as it could be sorted in a different way at his loss. Just a bit of a bite with the exchange rate and don’t purchase gear in 1 hit that goes over $1,000 au, lol I forgot! -
MBS206 Did u just take the “Limitless” pill? cause that was way over my head, much respect bro 🤜🏼

MLR's Bogan cruise ship
Watermouse replied to The Bogan's topic in Members Cars, Project Overhauls & Restorations
I found the same with Subaru’s. I own and love the SG9 Forester, after that model 2008+, Subaru threw the ugly stick at all their line up and somehow managed to make them look worse with every succeeding year. lol
