  1. Should i even consider buying this car with a changed cluster? What are cons if i was to buy it? Will it be a headache if i was to sell the car in the future?
  2. correction guys, the car has done around 80k on the clock. The original cluster had 79,878km The new nismo cluster was put in @ 24,051km. Owner advised that he uses the car for show and has added an 1000km since the day of purchase and new nismo cluster put in. The car itself is pretty much stock apart from the exhaust and the apexi pods. I'll definitely pay joc to confirm car status before i go any further with it.
  3. Hi again y'all Has anyone ever seen the Vic based white 34gtr with the plates K1NGTR? Once again, I am currently speaking with the owner regarding the sale of the car. Below is the link: http://www.gumtree.com.au/s-ad/melbourne-cbd/cars-vans-utes/nissan-skyline-gtr-34-vspec-/1090378983 Apparently, the original cluster was replaced with the nismo cluster (owner bought) with 25870 on the clock (kms clearly seen on pic). However the original cluster had 78000km. The owner believes that the car has done around 100000km in total to date. The car appears to be in pristine condition according to pictures with minor mods...... which is ideal. In addition, papers will be provided to substantiate the cars authenticity. Just waiting for a copy and will go from there. Your thoughts on this is greatly appreciated. Thanks
  4. Yeah i agree with you. If i was to import one from japan, July wouldve been the ideal time. the jpy was nearly 93 to a $. Ive seen the silver one advertised on carsales for $68k. That car is way outside my budget lol. Budget is only 50-55k cash money and ready! If i don't find one from here by the end of the year, then i may source one from Jap.
  5. Thanks for the advice guys. Much appreciated. After reading all comments, I have decided not to buy the car. I was thinking of using ic to source me one but the aud-jpy exchange rate is shocking at the moment. Hopefully it picks up soon.
  6. Damn! if it all goes well I plan to have the car pre inspected prior to purchase. The car is in vic and I'm from nsw. are there any trustworthy workshop in vic to have it inspected? Anyone!
  7. Yeah, I agree with you on the high price. The seller was not aware of the issues when he first bought the car. How do you add pics once you submit initial post? can't find the attachment icon lol. Sorry kinda new on sau.
  8. Hi, I have been speaking to a potential seller who plans to sell his BSB R34 GTR Vpsec. I managed to get a hold of the dereg and auction papers which he requested from jhc. The seller is quite helpful and honest when talking about the car. Please see attachment. (as a matter of privacy, the VIN # on both papers has been erased) According to the result of the auction sheet, the car received a zero grading. The reason for this grading is due to un-repaired mechanical issues, which meant the auction did not believe the vehicle was ready for sale. Unfortunately since the auction took place so long ago now, photos of the car at auction are no longer available. Auction notes also stipulates: Front sidemember repaired and re-painted Front cross-member replaced Front inner panel panel beaten and re-painted Core support replaced Bonnet replaced, Dents and scratches noted underneath Audio system missing, Oil leakage noted Apart of from the above issues the car itself is completely stock and the kms seems to be genuine and matching. The car has done 76,548km to date. 1) Car registered for road use in Japan, March 2005 with 32,100 kms 2) Car registered for road use in Japan, April 2007 with 54,500 kms 3) Car went to auction at HAA Kobe, March 2008 with 59,268 kms 4) Car complied in Australia by xxxx in June 2008 Asking price is 60k and negotiable. What are your thoughts? Would you consider buying? How much would you pay based on the car's history? Many thanks
  9. Still on the market searching for the right car. Just out of curiosity, anyone know about or seen the silver 34GTR advertised on carsales? Here is the link: http://www.carsales.com.au/private/details/Nissan-Skyline-2000/SSE-AD-3570591/?Cr=24 Thanks

  14. Hope you don't mind me asking, how much you sell it for?
  15. Thanks Tony. How much did you get your one for? Do you still have yours? If your willing to sell, let me know.
  16. Wow!, thanks for the advice guys. I'm kinda nw to the Gtr side. I was thinking of importing one from a broker and they estimated 50-55k landed and complied. I'll be saving more if I was to source one from here.
  17. Really, if I was to buy one from here? Or you mean 53k?
  18. Hi, Would anyone know how much a mnp3 r34 gtr nonvspec with genuine kms (100k with papers) cost these days? How much would you pay? Thanks
  19. Try contacting a registered GTO in your state. They can assist you.
  20. Budget is $50k. Under 100ks on odo is ideal, however will consider slightly over 100k but must be genuine ks.
