The R31 Coupe driven by Kelvin Maxfield was certainly quick and I guess will only get faster. My race prepared Skyline has been sitting out at Pro Auto for the last few weeks. It will be ready this week and better than ever so I will definitely be at the next TSS round. Cheers. Rod.

my 32 at the last round of the Tasmanian Super Series, Baskerville Raceway

This weekend Basky is hosting a national round of the Improved Production class, as Stu mentioned there will be 40 - 50 guys down from the mainland competing. Support races will include round 6 of the Tasmanian Super Series, which includes many skylines including my own 32 GTR and the Drifting fraternity will be putting on a good show. Qualifying and heats on Saturday , finals on Sunday. This will be one of the biggest race meetings Basky has held in years, come and have a look.

I had an OS Giken push to pull conversion kit in my 1994 32 GTR, this was required because I purchased an OS Giken clutch that required this kit to allow fitting to GTR's built after May 93. My car is producing 340rwkw and mainly used for circuit work and hill climbs. I noticed the clutch slipping occasionally under hard acceleration and got it checked out by Jim Berry. His advice was that because I was changing gears as fast as I could, one foot was off the clutch and the other back on the gas before the push to pull mechanism had fully released the pressure plate off the flywheel resulting in the clutch slipping. End result was that I replaced the clutch with a pull type and did away with the push to pull kit, both are now for sale in the parts section. RRP of the push to pull is $580. Rod.

For sale OS Giken twin plate clutch with flywheel to suit GTR, model no: TS2CD rated to 600HP. Purchased new 1 year ago and used for approx 2000k's. Works but friction plate between clutch plates has a slight warp causing the clutch to slip under hard acceleration. This was as a result of the push to pull conversion mechanism installed to fit the clutch to my 1994 GTR. Rebuild kit can be purchased from Otomoto in Australia. RRP is $2300, asking $350.
