  1. Disconnect the negative terminal on the battery to deactivate the air bag
  2. if it has one it will be a smaller version version of the brake booster behind the clutch master cylinder
  3. have a look, cuz if it does theres your problem, its a vacuum leak. Well it will deffinetly solve the clutch in problem...
  4. Does the 25t use a clutch booster like the gtr?
  5. They are $1100inc new from nissan so half that i guess.
  6. You need a timing light for starters you can buy them from autobarn type shops. Then you need to connect the 2xpower leads to your battery and the third lead goes onto number one HT lead that connects the your spark plug. Number one cylinder is at the front of the engine IE: closest to the front of the car. Make sure you hook this up the right way, there should be an arrow on the connector for the light indicating which way round it should be hooked on. Once its all connected up get a appropriate spanner to loosen the bolts on the CAS just enough so it can e rotated but not so much as it will turn by itself. Next start the engine and point the timing light down onto the crank pulley. There will be a series of marks on the timing cover behind the pulley with numbers on it IE:15BTDC,10BTDC,5BTDC,TDC, etc. There is a corresponding mark on the pulley itself that when you shine the flashing timing light on it, it will point at one of the marks on the timing cover. With the car idling twist the CAS until the mark lines up with 15BTDC. Then tighten up the CAS and recheck it. Good luck hope i helped Deren
  7. Its an 8 hour job so given that labour is worth about 80 bucks an hour you do the sums..
  8. I need a 2nd hand engine wiring harness for the R32 GTR all i need off it though, is the blue connector that plugs into the air regulator. Its the only blue plug on the whole engine loom. If anyone has one of these plugs with a bit of wire attached to it so i can join in it i would really like to buy it. PM me or call on 0402 829 091 Deren
  9. Like i said i got both from BSC for around 120-140
  10. Nissan charge a bomb for them, best to go to BSC. There is another past thread that covers exactly this. It also has part numbers. They are for the RB26 though, not sure if they are all the same. Do a search. By the way there is a idler pulley and a tensioner pulley. Two separate parts Deren
  11. I have had leaks from the mating surfaces due to bad contact. It sounds like birds chirping away in there! Make sure you have competely removed the old gasket material. Any left will create a leak. Use a razor blade to scrape it off being careful not to take a chunk out of the soft alloy. Nissan sell the gaskets for 3 dollars each.
  12. This one is sold however if you check my other thread i have one slightly damaged one(LH also) for $100 Search my username for threads and you will find it. Deren
  13. Currently have my R32 GTR completely stripped and am replacing/rebuilding every single part of the car! Every part is being stripped and cleaned/polished (depending on finish). I will post pics as the car as it comes back together (hopefully soon). Going for forged/balanced internals but overall a very original like 'day one' R32 GTR. It was a very tidy car to begin with but im very fussy (crazy) so here we are! Deren
  14. By the way...Tint can be removed and replaced...
  15. There are 2 pads on each weather strip to stabilise the glass and stop it from rubbing against the weather strip clips (which scratch the glass) The part number for the pads are 80324-04U00. However they are around $40 each. I planned to put new felt on each pad. There is also a pad on the window regulator which isnt sold separetly. Deren
  16. Sounds kinda handly. We have a scan tool at work but it'd be nice to have my own alternative..
  17. These are fully adjustable ie:Sleeve adjusment, spring seat adjustment, and damper adjustable. As they have not been used AT ALL since rebuilding they are in perfect working order. If someone will give me $1700 i will sell them if not i'll just keep them for myself. I have receipts for the rebuild. *Strut tops not included Deren 0402 829 091
  18. Getting pics soon. Location is near wynnum in Brisbane
  19. As the topic suggests please contact me if you have the original GT Spec stainless cat back exhaust. They are no longer being made and havent been for quite awhile. Looking to pay good money for one in good conditon. Deren 0402 829 091
  20. Thats so cool, so untouched. I cant believe there is still one like it! Says N1!! Id buy it if i had that much cash on me! The km's wouldnt be wound back! Only a fool would wind it back to 600kms and expect no one to notice haha. Its obvious when its that new! Just have a look over it and it will be obvious! Im sad i cant own it!
