  14. Unfortunately front right shock was pissing out, Caster bush were rooter and rack ends were also rooter. Went new Caster rods from ZSS. The pelican at the shop put the caster to far forward and I was rubbing pretty bad, cut a few bits off to try and get some clearance but in the end had to loosen it off myself, wont be going back to that shop! Decided to see what we could do to the diff, break it is what I could do to it. Considering we were only 2 days out from practice I raced out and bought another one. Few late nights and a bit more work to get her ready for the 6 hour regularity on North circuit Had a blast out there with the team, was great to have a thrash around the track for 2 days and being a regularity was about consistent lap times, didnt have race 10/10 which was awesome! We ran as a SAU NSW team and we had a great time (so much so we are going to Phillip island to do the 6 hour there) again with some split piping during practice so only ran about 9psi all race didnt matter to much. Full album can be found on FB - https://www.facebook.com/rhys.fordham/media_set?set=a.10156769468800173&type=3&pnref=story Thats pretty much it now, I scored some DBA t3's but they are 310mm (34gtt spec) so may not fit my car but we will see. New braided lines are on the way, Also scored some LMGT2's which ill most likely sell not a big fan of them. I need new Suspension bad so will try and get that sorted asap. Think I will go with the BC ER's, I like the external canister design and 30 way adjustable dampener. Prep begins for Bathurst next month which I am beyond keen for, racing our most iconic track has been a dream for a while so pretty stoked I get to have a hammer on it. Making a few videos of the different track days, never enough time for it! Ill post them up once done.
  15. Picked up some more wheels and got a set of semi's from John Boston. Got the car back just in time from Jez to head down to wakey with the Velocity crew. Car was awesome! ran so much better, took a beating from me and we managed to get it sub 1:15 which was a big goal, we noticed diff was letting us down as we were just single pegging out of every corner. If I can lay that power down will certainly go a lot quicker. I chucked the semi's on after a few sessions but went a little to hot into turn two (just after kink) and locked up pretty nicely and went off the track into the dirt. Destroyed that tyre haha Whole day car was fine, end of the sessions came and they opened the track, this where some cooler piping let go. considering that was the only thing that broke it was a dam fun day.
  16. Alright, time for an update. A crap ton has happened since the last proper update. Going to try cover it all just so I can enjoy the read a few years down the track To start with decided a more practical work station was needed so built some benches for the shed and organised it for about 5 minutes before crap was everywhere again Okay so picked up Cobra seat and Sparco 4 point. Gutted the interior completely, will go back over it with the dry ice soon. So decision was made to take the plunge and get a few more killer wasps out of the old RB. Jez was of course the man to take it to. Lucky enough to come across Eric's unicorn. So what went in: 1150cc Injectors Surge tank with internal 460 pump 255 in tank pump as well (Aftermarket industries supplied it all) Haltech wideband and gauge New exh Manifold GT3076R custom piping Forward facing plenum New gaskets for everything Haltech ECU controlling it all E85 only. Unfortunately didn't get the power we were all thinking it would get, still not 100% why considering this setup on most other cars would pull 300kw. Thinking it might be the small rear housing but not sure. Still a lot of extra power and now sounds awesome!
  17. Yeah think we will roll with that next time. Mistake I made was using Rs3's on practice and then A048's during the race. Not even pushing as hard I was consistently 2 seconds faster. Big learning during this race and was so much fun being on the track with so many different cars. Cant wait for Phillip Island!!
  18. its a regularity, can be slow just need to be consistent.
  19. Maybe you should emo to PI and run, we might finish up the order a bit more.
  20. Awesome shots Mate!!!
  21. Was good to actually meet you Zeb. Cheers for coming down! Single pegging is a way of life for some. If anyone wants to donate a 1.5 or 2 way ill gladly change that though.
  22. He will drive my car, he is putting his Brembos from the GTR on mine
  23. Team 1 Chris Bernard Des Flash Nick Rhys
