  1. Gtsboy. Thanks. That's wot I wanted to hear. Iv read and read and read. But to have someone reply about it. the clonking feels bad. But knowing its normal. Makes me smile. Changing my driving style fixes the clonking. When in parkin lots etc. (Taking her out of gear in full lock) Just I needed to kno it was normal. Thank you!! I took it to a tyre shop today. All young dudes. Took skirts off and I got her on the ramp. Did tracking. Sound. While in office. One youngin tried to take her off. span and span. I had to remove him wen I heard. Took me a second to get her off. But obly wen I went forward and the beast spat the ramp out across the road! Just shy of 400bhp. To let u all kno my level of mechanic skills. I'm a joiner.
  2. I took the car to my usually mechanic. Who is extremely good and he didn't have a clue. I am reaching out to drifters to make sure the car is acting the way it should do before I start abusing it.
  3. ? I do want to drift. Hence why I bought the car..? Just I live in the highlands. Pretty much like the stone ages up here. No drift tracks. Finding mechanics to do work on the skyline is hard let alone one that understands drift set ups. This is why I am here! Many thanks to all the usfull comments.
  4. The abs light is on as well. I was thinking someone altered the ecu with a computer or chip? To lock the TCS off abs off and slip diff on. Iv never driven a drift car before. So I don't have a clue how they drive. Wen I bought it the said the clonking is normal for the type of LSD on it? I heard to pass its mot the abs light will have to be off?
  5. I bought a r34 set up to drift. The dash has slip light and tcs off light constant on. If you try turn in tight circles the wheels sort of skid and jump. The mechanic I use. Didn't like it. Is this normal for a drift car? It drives fine and holds the back end perfect when letting it go.
