  1. Yeah bummer about the results. Here's what I could find. part 2: http://www.superstreetonline.com/how-to/project-car/impp-0806-all-motor-vq35de-part-2/ part 4_1: http://www.superstreetonline.com/how-to/project-car/0809-impp-nissan-350z-vq35de-engine/ part 4_2: http://www.superstreetonline.com/how-to/project-car/impp-0809-import-tuner-top-shop-update/ final: http://www.superstreetonline.com/how-to/project-car/impp-0811-all-motor-vq35de-nissan-engine/
  2. I actually read that article a while ago but can't navigate past part one and Google is no help. Maybe I'm blind. Do you have links to the rest of it?
  3. Thanks guys, good to be here. Prank, pics are on the way after the headlights are polished. Hadouken, the dark side is strong in this one (my car).
  4. Oh man, now I'm THAT guy Hate being a noob. Thanks for the info, I have taken it on board and revised my expectations accordingly. I will also make a point of not jumping enthusiastically onto a new board while half cut. Looks like I'll just go for tone with the exhaust. Cheers
  5. Hi After being an old-school Honda guy forever I bought a 350gt a few months ago. I'd always thought that when I bought a performance car it would be a Type R, mainly because there's something about a Honda four howling at 8000rpm that can't really be matched. But front drive always felt wrong to me, and the turning point was driving a friend's FD2 Type R. It was slow. So I swung back the other way. Rear drive, big displacement - f**k it. Nothing can touch a VQ Nissan. And the sound. Oh yes, the sound. So now I'm the proud owner of an '03 350gt 6mt coupe and couldn't be happier. Because it is one of the classic car shapes of the last twenty years and it pulls like a mule. Big up to the Nissan crew
  6. Hi all. Nice community you got here. So here's the deal. My '03 6mt 350gt, 95,000kms (debatable but who knows, it's cosmetically mint and has no gremlins) probably makes 130-150kw atw. Haven't dynoed it yet. But it's not enough, and I want 250 atw, keeping it NA, with switchable economy and performance ecu maps, and a mean sound (motordyne TDX is the perfect tone), capping the spend at about $6k. Here's what I expect I need: Cams Intake Exhaust - banking on a TDX shipped from the states Re-map (Uprev?) Who do I talk to in Melbourne to make this happen? Cheers
