Hi Jaz Dude have you sorted the HICAS light? If not, do you have an aftermarket steering wheel? If so, the car may have the wrong boss fitted which causes HICAS to stuff up.

If your mirrors are a little slow/jerky, can you just remove the glass and give the motors a blast with brakekleen or contact spray? Just to loosen them up a little I mean

If you're talking about adjusting the damper, have you looked at the top of the strut tower? There is usually a tiny flathead screw-type thing which you can probably adjust to four different settings.

I put 5L into the RB26 gearbox, which is about the same? I hear your pain re expensive. The fluid is about 1,000km old but the gearbox needs to come out next week, can you reuse the fluid? ps nice sig

Hey Rylan My R32 has been gassed twice in twelve months and it still blows warm air. Learned that a few days ago whilst driving up the freeway during the second hottest day on record Annnnyway, mine is terrible. I haven't looked at the actuator and until I saw this thread (re: thermisters) I thought I just had an aircon leak. If (when!) I sort it, I'll post here. Mark

Happy New Year. I'm trying to avoid taking the car across Sydney and was wondering if anyone had used a transmission place in Western Sydney? All the names I can think of are tuning places. Hopefully the solution is simply gearbox out, replace stuffed bit, gearbox in - but I'd prefer to use someone who knows their stuff just in case it's more complicated than I think it'll be. Any info/advice would be appreciated! Thanks guys. Mark

Is it wise to put an expensive high output engine into a cheap car? I'm no racer by any stretch, but I haven't heard of any race cars with a 1000hp engine. As far as business sense goes, it doesn't make a lot of sense to manufacture multiple extremely high power engines and have them sit around waiting for a customer that wants to buy off-the-shelf. *bump* Hi team. Same problem here. Gearbox oil is 1,000km old. Reverse no worky. Difficult to engage 5th when engine is off and without the clutch. 1st through 4th engage engine off no clutch. Reverse does not engage at any time. It does not move on the fork at all. The wasn't any crunch/bang nor any whining in the gearbox prior to failure. Thanks Steve and Paul for the info! It gives me something to go on. Here's hoping I can sort this out in the garage... it crumped whilst taking my wife out for our wedding anniversary! Sure puts the pressure on at the shops when you only have one shot to nail the parking space. @R32zilla: Mate did you sort this out in the end?

Seeing as you asked so nicely: The colour is silver, as appears in the first line of the ad. The location is Sydney, as appears in the title of the ad.

Make sure you clean them with BrakeKleen or similar prior to fitting as they are coated with an anti-corrosive that will stuff you pads if it is not removed.
