  1. thanks for the offer. no offence taken, its just too low for me sorry. thanks for the interest though.
  2. auto supra, n/a. 160ish kw, plenty of power and looks. get 4 under 15k if u look around
  3. haha. we all know victorians arent the best of drivers blind_elk but you're right big rizza, safety first. i dont drive unless i have too, and even then its not very far. understand that the last thing i want is a death on my concience. thanks for your concern. its going to be a slow 5 weeks then. . .
  4. i got hit by a car trying to save a little girl getting hit.. . no not really, im no hero. i broke it when i was out skating at 2am, drunk as a skunk. stupidity won in straight sets. when i drive i dont even move my left arm. it sits on my leg, and everythjing is done with the right, and knees so i guess thats illegal. at least now there is no sling, so it cant be easily seen when they drive past.
  5. hey all. just wondering, wats the law say about driving with a broken arm? as u can guess, i broke my arm. my left arm. and since i have a manual, its pretty important when it comes to driving. am i allowed to drive? yes, it is fu(king hard to as`well. has anyone else ever done this to themselves, anyone share my grief?
  6. Ok. Whatever i post, im getting it from the latest GTR special Issue of HPI. just want to clear that up now. The V-spec (in the 33 at least) has the active diff and different ATTESA system. Doesnt say anything about power. But there was an N1 special which did have upgraded turbos, suspension tweaks better water and oil pumps. only a few hundred were made. Both the 32 and 33 have 206kw@6800 torque: 32 = 353Nm@4400 33 = 368Nm@4400 redline: 32 = 7500/8000 33 = 8000 i personally dont know much about the differences, its all from HPI. This is what it says, and they know more than me as its their job, so it looks good. enjoy
  7. i was in kiama once and saw someone with RED P plates driving a new lambo mucialago or gallardo ( i get them mixed up) anyway, i was in my mates celica, and i felt like walking after i'd seen it.
  8. you dont want a chaser do you? manual, of corse
  9. thanks mate. ill let you know. damn cars, just cost more money. why cant they be like land and go up in value???
  10. forgot to add. when i take off from being stopped, it kinda feels like im starting in 2nd. poor response and a sluggish feel.
  11. Hey all. I just got my R33 gtst back the other day. I was in canberra and on friday night i got it. Went on the cruise and met people at the museum and all and it was fine. drove like it used to, if not a little better. saturday morning it wouldnt start. it sounded like it was about to kick over everytime i tried, so we called the NRMA. a dude came out (in about 5 minutes when they quoted 60 - 90) and he said that the sat. dishes and transmitting towers can affect the alarm i have, and f**k it up. so he just undid the battery and put it back, and it started. from berra i drove to wollongong. the car feels like its missing a beat somewhere. when i take off, the whole car kinda shakes, and you can here it grumble, similar to a V8. at high revs its much less noticable, but when im taking off or accelerating a bit hard it comes back. then this morning i go to start it again and it wont kick over. the same as when it first happened. my brother reckons it could be the ingnition coils or plugs or something. has anyone ever had this problem or know of what could be causing it? also, its just had a massive service, timing belt, all electric, fixed it idle problem etc. can anyone shed some light??? thanks.
  12. i dont race. too many people and/or cops. theres no point. 5 seconds of fun for 200bucks and 3 points? no dice. funny story though, mate ex-house mate had had his V8 statesman for 3 days. it was wet, and his previous car was a toyota surf 4x4 (so no power there). he thought he'd give it some, and wrote it off knocking down a street light. he was lucky it was so late bcause its a busy street and if there has been anyone else on either side of the road they could have been severely injured. moral is; dont race against people or youself. especially not in a super taxi
  13. every week i wash it. wax it about every 2 months. it says it lasts 3 or something, but its a little bit more money for a lot more self assurance. takes a while though. i just finished washing, cut, polish and waxing my chaser and mates supra. im f**ked. look nice though. too bad its about to rain and theres only one car hole.
  14. my house mate has a Stock RZ TT Supra. I have an R33 gtst with basic mods (FMIC, Pod, 3" turbo back, boost around 11psi). ive driven his, and honestly they can be compared to in that sence. i also have a chaser with a 1jz. we both got our toyotas on the same day, both with no mods, and the chaser keeps up til around 3rd gear, and then the twins in the RZ spool away. but i agree that you cant compare toyotas best sports car to the gtst, it should be against nissans king, the gtr. the gtst and the Rz are two different cars. one is a [japanese] family coupe, the other is pure sports.
  15. yup. sell it in three years (if you're in nsw, P's etc) then just buy an RZ. Everything is coming down, so you'll be able to pick one up easy enough. plus you can start saving now for mods
  16. hey hey hey. i did post it in supra forum. i just wanted a non-biased opinion. but thanks all for the imput. and they do suck when it comes to room and fuel. i dont own it, i have a chaser. i big, roomy, economic supra, which weighs less. thanks all, now i just gotta convince him to sell it while its worth anything. he dindt know what its worth cos it only cost him 23k to import himself. i was in the back once, with 2 other ppl, so 5 all together in a 4 seater. im not tall, but my head hurt, and i cramped up. very un-useable, especially since he's a plumber.
  17. guess what it is. . . .another bump!
