Hi guys I have for sale my R32 GTR which I had planned to do a full ground up build on. But pulling the pin on it due to other stuff going on in my life. I am the only owner since its been in Australia, I imported it a few years back it is complianced and was registered but rego since has ran out. While in Australia I probably only drove it on the actual road for less than 10,000 km. The car was Grade 4 vehicle, with no accident history. When it arrived we only found a a small rust spot on the lower right hand rear panel which we fixed up. All running gear is still in the car, the motor has been pulled out and the interior expect for dash and console assembly has been removed. There is no backseats, roll cage was planned to go in. The underneath and body is all straight. The body has been sanded back, but still requires further sanding and prep'ing for spray painting. I want to sell everything as a complete package. exhaust gasket leak is usually a bit more different sound. Intake manifold gasket u will experience random rough idle and random tiny backfires or just running like a pig depending how bad the leak is. Its either a tiny leak between compressor housing outlet and throttle body. Or if u are definitely hearing it from the turbo then it needs to be removed and balanced by a turbocharger specialist. I'm leaning more towards it being a balancing issue. Sometimes it can fix itself up, we had the same issue on my brothers EVO VI, kept driving for months then one day it was gone! Turbo was pulled out last month for upgrade and it was fine so shaft/thrust play or signs it was on the way out.

Did u have this car imported over? Or was it already imported, complied and sold to u by previous owner??
