  11. Having a POD and a FMIC is NOT a defectable offense!! It is an EPA issue, all the police really should do is EPA you for having both. As long as your POD is well secured, they should not be able to defect you. In fact if you come to my workshop with both your POD and FMIC, providing the POD is properly secured it will not get picked on.. AND as long as your intercooler has been mounted without and modifications to the cars structure, as in cutting structural parts to fit cooler piping etc It just might be worth trying to get in contact with the people who are in charge of or handle the RWC side in VICRoads. I only know this because my bosses have attended roadworthy workshop meetings and have spoke to people higher up in VICRoads, and they have all said if the police have a problem with it then contact them!! But then again getting EPA'd sucks! But if the police cant find 3 defects you dont need to present VICRoads with a RWC!
  12. I think u need oil otherwise your turbos will seize! You probably have to block your water lines, cause i know a few if not most trust turbos are not water cooled. Anyway just take the bolt from the water line that goes into the block to a place like pirtek and they will give u a bolt with the same type of thread that u can use to put into the block and that will do the job. Then u have to worry about blocking off the other water line too..... Not sure wat u mean about the turbos sitting opposite? Good luck!
  13. We had a Silvia who's SR20 my workshop rebuilt come back in, which had its pod down at the bumper... It was around that time we had very heavy rain at the start of this year. Pulled it apart and found number 3 cylinder rod was bent like a banana! Cannot compress a liquid! No shallow river or creek driving, driving to work on the road during heavy rainfall period

  16. :) i think im prepared to take a ricer risk over having to buy a new windscreen and bonnet! and also the damage it could do other cars around me.. I'm not planning to hit land speed records on the eastlink I only got this paranoid from when i was doing something under the bonnet and a gust of wind came and blew the bonnet back right off the support rod! I thought to myself that u dont even have to be going fast, the right gust of wind can hit and fk shit up good !!
